I’m a huge proponent of his efforts to modernize our currency, e.g. saving costs by retiring the one dollar note (switching to a dollar coin), retiring the valueless penny and reworking the metal composition of the nickel.

Each of those actions would save the taxpayer hundreds of million per year with literally no drawbacks, which is why the Citizens Against Gov’t Waste has wholeheartedly endorsed it.

At a glance and/or low light it is difficult to distinguish the two. Good idea, very bad execution.

But once you’ve used it for awhile, it’s rather easy to distinguish the difference once you’ve used the coin a lot.

Given a fifth of a second, it’s hard to distinguish, but it’s bigger, thicker and a different color. I’m to the point where I could pick a dollar coin out of a bag of quarters with my eyes closed, but then again, I always have cash and dollar coins on me.

Do they believe the media is biased? If so, how are they planning to get their message out? How are they planning to combat media bias? What messaging and media strategies are they planning to pursue?

Statistics all of a sudden mandating that ONLY gov’t computers will be allowed to the “selected” press when releasing unemployment data and such. Sounds like the O admin is going to manipulate those numbers even more for the purpose of re-election

I have a saying that I coined 40 years ago and it goes like this: “Never wrestle with a pig. All the Happens is, you get dirty and the pig likes it”. This could apply to anyone meeting with the media the media being the Pig.

And my best idea for a question is “Why is John B still called Mr Speaker”
