Meet Jason Sager (CAN-R-FL-05)
Hello RedState! I would like you to meet someone I met. His name is Jason Sager and he is running for Florida’s 5th Congressional District. Instead of taking his word on his website, I personally met the man. This guy is the real deal. I first heard of Jason Sager when I went to see Glenn Beck and he announced his 100-Year Plan. (Sortof) Meet Richard Nugent (CAN-R-FL-05)
Oh great, another Dick* running for office. After much research, I can now tell you what I have learn about Richard Nugent: … That’s it. I’m telling you, this is Florida 5th District’s Man Of Mystery. Oh sure, Hernando County might know him, but that does do the rest of the district no good. This guy doesn’t even have a website up yet.
Ginny Brown-Waite: The Red Queen
This is just great. When criticized about how she announced her retirement, Ginny Brown-Waite responded with a statement that would be funny if she wasn’t so serious: U.S. Rep. Ginny Brown-Waite’s Handoff Of Her Seat To Sheriff Irks Many “It’s clear that these critics belong to the Charlie Crist wing of the Republican Party – their real concern is their personal political gain,” Brown-Waite said, | Read More »
Brown-Waite (R FL-05) And Nugent Shenanigans
I know this news broke Friday (April, 30th), but for some reason I am just now hearing about this: “As I have prepared for my campaign, I have been troubled by persistent health problems and have come to the disappointing and sad conclusion that I cannot run for reelection. There are simply too many unresolved issues around my health and my pancreas in particular. As | Read More »
Quote Of The Day: Charlie Crist
“He’s realizing he can’t win as a Republican anymore. … He’s making John Kerry look like the Rock of Gibraltar.” – Florida State Senator Mike Haridopolos
Moderate Vs Politician
Ok, we all know Charlie Crist is the worest person since Benedict Arnold (or Arlen Specter, take your pick). But this Burn All The Moderates thing is a bit over the top, no?
Audio: Florida Indecision 2010 (Part One)
In what I hope to be a regular feature, I would like to introduce: Florida Indecision 2010 (Part One) My first guest is Moe Lane, who talks with me about George LeMieux and Kendrick Meek (the Democratic front runner). In the first part, we talk about if George Lemieux is going to be a spoiler in this race. Then we talk about if Marco Rubio | Read More »
LeMieux To Endorse Rubio?
Now wouldn’t this just make my day (via Hot Air): LeMieux, who ran Crist’s past campaigns, served as his chief of staff at one point and has largely been seen as Crist’s top political advisor, now has his own political career to consider. Appointed to replace ex-Sen. Mel Martinez (R) last year, LeMieux is said to be taking a serious look at challenging Sen. Bill | Read More »

Breaking: Mitt Romney To Endorse Marco Rubio
I first heard of this on Ace Of Spades and got a hit on CBS News. AP – Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney will endorse Marco Rubio over Gov. Charlie Crist in Florida’s Republican Senate primary. Romney plans to make the announcement on Saturday, according to a Romney adviser who wanted to remain anonymous because the announcement hasn’t been made yet.
Prosecuting Your Competition (UPDATE)
You have heard the story before. Hugo Chavez or Vladimir Putin arresting or prosecuting their main rival for their job. You think to yourself that this will never happen here in the US. That this ugliness, if it does happen, would be front page news. You can almost imagine the outrage at Obama even hinting at doing this toward Palin. Well, it’s going on right | Read More »
Revolutions Do Indeed Start In Massachusetts
On December 16, 1773, after officials in Boston refused to return three shiploads of taxed tea to Britain, a group of colonists boarded the ships and destroyed the tea by throwing it into Boston Harbor. This set in motion events that lead to the American Revolution in 1775.

PUMA: The Progressive Movement Should Die Of Shame
Or with a bullet in the head: WTF?? If the Progressive Movement hasn’t yet died of shame, someone should put a bullet in its head.
CharlieandObama.com Yesterday, the Marco campaign emailed me that they were lunching a new fundrasing website that “will be the most powerful online fundraising tool in Florida’s political history.” They did not disappoint.
