Early voting starts today in Florida. It will end August 21st. You can vote inbetween 9AM to 5PM, wherever early voting is taking place. You should vote as soon as possible and skip the lines come August 24th. Who am I voting for or endorsing? Well, here is my list:
I would like to start this out with a story. This will give you a little reason as to why I am supporting Bill McCollum (however this is not the only reason). When Rick Scott first brust onto the scene, I emailed his campaign asking if there was any way I can interview Rick Scott if he comes by my area. I wanted to get | Read More »
Man, you just can’t help but love Jason Sager (CAN-R-FL-05). I mean, this guy is the original Tea Party/912er. That is no boast, it is a fact: That was Sager’s “Patrick Henry moment” and he knew he had to get involved.
This is what I have been saying Bill McCollum should do, go after Rick Scott’s involvement with Columbia/HCA:
(Via Wake Up 1776*) Come, I’ll hide nothing from you: I’m an Atheist. However I am not Anti-Theist. I was raised in a Christian home, but when I started getting older I realized that I wasn’t really feeling spiritual. What saved me from going down the dark path that most Atheists go down, is my political conservative leanings. Still, while I don’t like the term | Read More »
The Huckabuck is now getting involved in the race that no one really knows about:
This is not the year for Florida’s ballot amendments. First, Amendment 7 (dealing with redistricting) was stuck down on July 8th. Then Amendment 3 (dealing with limiting property tax increases) on July 23rd. And now Amendment 9 (dealing with health care freedom) has been struck down on July 29th. All these amendments were struck down because of wording, either title or summary or both.
(Via Wake Up 1776) First. Richard Nugent (CAN-R?-FL-05) supports the oil drilling moratorium. Then we find out that he’s not really into the Second Amendment. Now we find out he is really loving his Medicare: Sheriff Nugent recently wrote an article on his facebook stating that he will defend Medicare and stated that Jason Sager believes Medicare is unconstitutional (which it is!) and implies that | Read More »
(Via BigGovernment.com) Your Alan Grayson “Outrage Of The Day”: Grayson Bills Taxpayers For DVD Of Term’s Highlights If U.S. Rep. Alan Grayson were a rock star, his latest PR blitz – a DVD sent to tens of thousands of Central Florida residents – would be called Grayson’s Greatest Hits.
The last time I talked to you about a Florida Amendment, I said we must say “no”. This time, I say we need need to vote “yes” on Amendment 8: Florida Class Size In 2002, Florida voted for Florida Reduce Class Size, Amendment 9 which limited the class sizes that would take effect Fall 2010 (this school year). High school classes would be limited to | Read More »
Never before in it’s nearly 100-year history has the Florida Chamber Of Commerce make a gubernatorial endorsement. Today, that ended: McCollum Endorsed By Florida Chamber Of Commerce The mouthpiece for 140,000 of Florida’s businesses has voted and wants Bill McCollum to be the Republican nominee for governor. The Florida Chamber of Commerce endorsed McCollum at the Port of Tampa Wednesday. It is the organization’s first | Read More »
FactCheck.org again sets Rick Scott’s lying PAC straight: Let’s Get to Work, a political committee largely financed by Florida gubernatorial candidate Rick Scott’s wife, is at it again – falsely claiming that Attorney General Bill McCollum used a “chartered airplane” to commute to work and charged taxpayers $280,000. McCollum has access to a state plane, but it’s not true that he uses it to commute. | Read More »
This is your chance to vote for Patricia Sullivan (CAN-R-FL-08), even if you don’t live in FL-08! How? Right Klik’s Ten Buck Fridays!
In the first debate between Richard Dick* Nugent and Jason Sager, Nugent showed us he supports the Oil Drilling Moratorium, wanting to cost people jobs in another state in order to score points with the people of Floridians. Well, in the second debate, we got yet another surprise from Richard Nugent (via Wake Up 1776**):
Today is the last day to register to vote or change party affiliation for those who wish to cast a ballot in the August 24, 2010, primary election. Even as you read this and you are going to register as a Democrat, that’s fine. Voting is one of the most important things you can do as a citizen.
I know I talk a lot about Jason Sager (CAN-R-FL-05), and that’s because he’s an awesome guy. How awesome? Awesome enough to get on Glenn Beck:
The FL-22 race has taken an interesting turn: U.S. Rep. Ron Klein is acknowledging the threat to his re-election from Republican Allen West and his challenger’s supporters in the tea party movement. He’s even attempting to use West’s tea party base – and the most prominent tea partier, Sarah Palin – as a way to fire up Democrats for his re-election campaign.
I was just given some awesome news: Jason Sager (CAN-R-FL-05) is going to be on Glenn Beck later today (5PM ET). I am going to miss it because I will be out of the house all day today. Could someone get the segment of Jason Sager on YouTube for me?
Only in America, where we will shoot our foot to spite our nose. Right now, the fight over NASA has taken an ugly turn: The U.S. Senate appeared to have cobbled together a compromise with the White House concerning NASA’s immediate future as of late last week, but a new House Science Committee bill might undermine those dealings. The House proposal does not include an | Read More »
