(Via Hot Air) Unintended consequences: Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas is willing to give up hundreds of millions of dollars of US aid if that is what is necessary to forge a reconciliation deal with Hamas, the Associated Press quoted his adviser as saying on Monday.

New Respect For Elton John

I want to preface this by saying that I’m not much of an Elton John fan. It’s not that I had anything against him, it’s that I haven’t heard any of his songs (that I know of) with maybe the exception of “I Don’t Wanna Go On With You Like That”. I am more of rock and heavy metal kind of guy.
