You know how Bambi sounds when he’s improv – stumbling, bumbling, and talking in circles. This answer sounded prepared and rehearsed.

My feeling, then and now, is that this was planned as the fallback question: if the presser just totally fell flat, which it did, this would be his (a) triumph answer, where he gets to beat up on the conservative racist straw man, and (b) change the subject, light off a smoke bomb so big that nobody remembers the presser was a rotten egg.

he had been ALL NIGHT because this kind of race baiting EXCITES him. He is the racist in Chief and his whole background got him to that moment as President to tell all of America and the world what a racist country America is! He disgusts me.

For Obama and his staff to plan to call Cambridge police “stupid” over this does not transcend race. People did not get what they were voting for when they pulled the lever for Obama. Hopefully a lot of people are seeing that they aren’t getting what they were promised on race relations … and healthcare and taxes as well.

Is that this was about the presidential power against the blue collars. The aristocracy against the rest of us.
