The Atlanta Police Department officers on the scene at the Georgia State Capitol just told me they are confirming that their estimate is 10,000 15,000 people present at the Atlanta Tea Party.

Steph C Wednesday, April 15th at 7:22PM EDT (link)I believe, if we get honest estimates the grand total of all events is going to top a million, perhaps two million considering there are 2300 separate events.

Columbus Crowd of 2000?
Brad Smith Wednesday, April 15th at 7:24PM EDT (link)Don’t want to clutter up the front page with reports from every city and hamlet. I’ve got a few short observations on Columbus, Ohio event here.

Seems like a similar crowd up here in Canton, OH
cump Wednesday, April 15th at 7:44PM EDT (link)I’d say up here in the northern part of the state the same stats could be true for the weather, participant demographics, civility, and discussions. The only surprise was that we were expecting around 150-200 and we had around 1,500. For Canton, OH…that is a major event.
I would have figured Columbus (heart of the GOP for OH), the attendance would have been much much more.
Ignoring the voice of many
fisk2521 Wednesday, April 15th at 8:19PM EDT (link)I hope this is just the beginning of people beginning to realizing that the government is selling our children’s future.
We keep seeing Congress andn Obama ignoring the voice of many. I heard Obama say as he reassured everyone today, millions of Americans would get a ‘tax cut’. I would remind him that he represents ALL Americans, not just a select few. I truly don’t think he feels that he has any obligation to citizens that don’t agree with his socialist agenda. He threatens in pretty direct ways, like through his DHS report. He reminds that ‘he won’….and genuinely thinks that the votes reflected a direct allegiance to his leftist views. I think he is very wrong..

Where do we want to collect the guesstimate numbers?
Raven Wednesday, April 15th at 8:39PM EDT (link)Because I have the numbers for Altoona, PA (200).
I think it would be nice to know approximately how many people showed up today in toto.

A “few dozen” in Lafayette. News page has a video of the story with an view of the event from the air.
Montgomery, AL
WarEagle01 Wednesday, April 15th at 9:01PM EDT (link)I conservatively estimate about 2000 for Montgomery, AL. I counted a group of 50 people and then visually divided the rest of the crowd into groups of roughly the same size. It was a very large crowd which filled the street in front of the Alabama state house.

That's even better but
Steph C Wednesday, April 15th at 9:17PM EDT (link)Somebody needs to alert PJTV about it since they’re keeping a running tally.
they have Atlanta at 150. Given your 15,000 I’m sure that’s accidental but adding 13,850 more to the tally would immediately put the count over 200,000. There are lots of numbers not in yet. This is huge. Regardless of the MSM coverage I don’t think this can be ignored. If they do, it’s just going to get larger.

Course, the only MSM coverage of ATL

Saw Him
ATLconservative Thursday, April 16th at 7:22AM EDT (link)Yeah, I was about 50 feet from this guy, and SHOULD have asked him to drop the flag. But he was not an “ACORN infiltrator” (an old guy with a Santa Claus beard doesn’t exactly scream ‘community organizer’), so I left it alone.
The ONLY Confederate flag in the crowd, and of course it’s in plain view, a focus of many a camera shot.
Great…
Moderately favorable coverage of ATL from the ABC Affiliate

Despite being co-branded with Neal Boortz’s flagship radio station, WSB-TV is anything but “conservative” or “libertarian.”
Fortunately, they know where their bread is buttered: Ratings. A bad report would have cost them dearly in the ever-important suburbs.
Wish I could have made it.
