Will there be a way to find out who voted which way? I’d love to have a list handy come election time…

That voted yes needs to be primary challenged and it’s incumbent upon everyone here to not only help find a good conservative candidate, but to do everything they can to ensure they take out those so called republicans who voted for this monstrosity!

This is a sad day for America. a sad day for her hard working citizens and a sad day for liberty in general.

I need to now which Rep district to avoid spending $0.01 in their district for ANYTHING, Pencils, erasers (except political) food stuffs.
What major national entities are headquartered in those districts? No business

With all do respect, a couple of us were writing about this last Tuesday, but no one really cared. The GOP leadership and all the activists were AWOL. Its not really an effective strategy to organize to defeat a Bill the day before the vote.

Dems used health care as a Stalking Horse. Nothing is going to happen on health care probably for months. They are not even close. Yet the Dems used Republican obsession with the media spotlight to sneak this through.

So yeah, work on Senators now. Educate, not flamethrow. All the info, stats, videos, … Forcefully, respectfully and intelligently start working on them now. Collins, Snowe, Dorgan, Nelson, Conrad, Baucus, Tester, Bennett, Lincoln,

The facts are on our side use them, not just vitriol.

Actually calls himself a conservative. Unfathomable! Being conservative on one issue (in his case life) does not make you a consrvative.

He needs to go down in the primary even more than the others for calling himself a conservative.

They must be repeatedly asked why they asked to freeze old people in winter and bake them in summer. Why they voted to put people out of business, swelling the unemployment rolls. Because that is what higher energy prices will do. Just ask those folks in California who lived through the first year of “deregulation” where energy costs rose 300% in a month.

I’m also mad at the 8 Republican defectors, but that’s an extremely small amount of of the Republican caucus.

Around 97% of the Republican House voted against this, and around 80% of the Democrats voted for it.

I want to expand more time and energy going after the 80% of the Democrats that voted for this piece of legislation, than the 3% of Republicans.

But if you wanted to see and hear everything you never gave a poop about regarding Michael Jackson…..THAT they spent almost the entire day on!

This vote was too close to bring the bill to the Senate floor, as it would face near-certain defeat.

So, I’m guessing this bill gets watered down over the next year or so and then gets tested in the Senate sometime in 2010. The left needed this to do better than 80% from Dems, and they needed to bring along a few more Pubs as well.

Embrace $8 gasoline and $800 residential electric bills.

There should be more than enough here to offset Collins and Snowe. At first glance I don’t think this thing has a chance of passing let alone breaking a filibuster. Best to be prepared anyway and not assume anything.

Not that I am seeing any discouragement here, but if there are any who are and are not posting….
Even though we did not win the House vote, our phone calls and contacts have not been made in vane. The close nature of this vote puts us in better position for the Senate.

Not just by the 8 republican congressmen, but the entire system itself.

While we should do our best to support the non re-election of the 8 and their replacement by “good ” republicans, let us not forget that the real enemies who brought this Cap-and-Tax Bill are the Democrats and the rest of the Environmental Communists.

..Since they seem hell-bent on sodomizing the average American.

With cap and trade San Francisco and New York elites will sit back and stroke themselves over their “enlightened environmental greenness” while the rest of us will just get shafted by higher energy and transportation costs.
