Right now the liberal loons that monitor this blog are laughing. They think I am delusional and totally wrong on my predictions.

In 1994 I was also being laughed at by many who knew me because I predicted in May of that year that the Republicans would take over the House Of Representatives. I even had an election night party that some of my friends declined to attend. I asked them why and they told me they did not want to be around me after I was proved wrong.

None of them doubt me now when I make a political prediction, especially after I was dead on with the 2004 Presidential election percentage that Bush would win with.

Today, with all the media and the pollsters warning of the end of the world for Republicans on November 7th, the conventional wisdom is about to be proved wrong yet again.

What the liberals do not know is that, unlike them, I am basing my predictions on FACT, not Emotion.

The loons in the Democrat party are convinced they will win it all because they have been told this for over a year. They are in an echo chamber of their reality.
But no one has asked them what happens when THEY lose.

The Democrats are looking at the GENERIC Congressional polls and saying they all favor Democrats. These are polls that ask you how you would vote WITHOUT a specific person’s name involved. Besides the fact that 60% of Americans say they like their own Congressman, what the Democrats do NOT look at is the fact that all the mainstream polls overstate Democrats in the statistics anywhere from 5 to 11 Points.

* USAToday/Gallup: 9 points.
* CBS/NYT: 5 points
* ABC/WP: 8 points
* CNN: did not provide sample party ID details.
* Newsweek: 11 points.
* AP/Ipsos: 8 points.
* Pew: 7 points.
* Time: 8 points.

This has NEVER been done before in an election.

In other words, the media and the polling outfits are MANIPULATING the outcome by over weighting the sample with Democrats so that it LOOKS like Democrats have it locked. ( You can find the breakdown here:

This is part of the attempt to demoralize and disgust the Republican base so much that they stay home on Election Day.

In fact, this all is having the OPPOSITE effect. We are even more motivated to go to the polls than ever before.

The true polls show that Republicans think the Foley “scandal” was about one man, not the entire Republican Party.

You don’t see this in the Mainstream media.

The true polls are showing the Senate races that the Dems thought were theirs are now shifting towards Republicans.

You don’t see this in the Mainstream media.

The true polls show many of the House races are dead even that the Dems thought they had already won.

You don’t see this in the Mainstream media.

The true polls are showing many Democrat seats are shifting towards Republicans.
This could mean the Democrats are heading towards losing seats they thought were safe.

You don’t see this in the Mainstream media.

There are two perfect examples of how the media has decided what they want, yet reality might intervene and slap them across the face.

Rick Santorum will win his Senate seat because after the debates people of Pennsylvania saw Casey for what he is, a lightweight with no knowledge or truth about the issues. In the last debate Casey actually stated that there were 5000 gun dealers in Philadelphia and only a few dozen ATF agents to police them. Santorum blew him away by proving to him that there are only 22 gun dealers in the city, not 5000. This was but one lie that Casey has been spouting that Santorum has debunked. Santorum is within eight points now, and this number will move further his way in the next two weeks.

Cut and Run Democrat John Murtha, also of Penna, is under attack by a great Republican candidate, Diana Irey. I tried for months to get a poll of this race and there was nothing. Then last week the Pittsburgh Tribune released a poll of only 400 people, probably from their offices, that had Murtha up by double digits. But the paper refused to list who they polled, from where and from what party. The poll even had Irey losing in her hometown where she is well liked and very popular. The Irey campaign has called the poll wrong and proved that their internal polling show the race a dead heat.

I fully expect yet another Democrat sleazy October Surprise. But even then I see the numbers shifting fast towards Republicans.

When people get in the voting booth and close that curtain behind them they know who they can trust on the key issues and on National Security, and it sure ain’t the Defeatocrat party.

In Matworld the Democrats wake up on November 8th in shock and awe that they blew it again. They will cry foul and “stolen election” yet again, but they will be unable to face the facts that the American people do not like, nor trust them.

Granted two weeks is a lifetime in politcs and anything can happen, and if I am wrong I will analyze that another time, but you won’t have to wait for that.

Barring another sleazy, outrageous and dishonest attack from the left in the next two weeks that the Media distorts and pushes against Republicans, I predict the Republicans will maintain power and help push the loony left one step closer to the brink of the ashbin of history.

God willing.

I wrote a blog entry last weekend about mature GOP voters vs. Hate-driven Dem voters, but after thinking about it, it really comes down to the fact that most republicans are or became republicans for the sole purpose of

voting. They believe in principles they want translated into law. A large percentage of GOP voters are converts from being democrats, and, like most converts, are very zealous in their beliefs.

The GOP turns out. Like a machine.

but I got jolted back to reality on my own road to Damascus. 9 or so years ago. I am proudly and completely a conservative zealot, because conservatism equals personal freedom through responsibility. Conservatism is simple, liberalism continues to exist only through multiple, redundant layers of nuanced gobbletigook. When a conservative wants to build widget A, he simply finds the most efficient way to do it and builds it in a perfect world. In the world of reality, the maker of widget A first has to have environmental impact studies of his factory site, the bureaucratic nightmare of zoning, the labor unions, the OSHA requirements, the 35% corporate income tax, any state income tax, and possibly coming soon to an already overburdened republic near you CAP AND TRADE CARBON TAXES etc. etc. etc..

Barron's says the GOP will keep both houses of Congress, losing seven House seats and 3 Senate seats.

You make a lot of good points in your article, but your actual prediction is a joke. Face it Santorum is going to lose his seat and Murtha will easily coast to re-election. You can say otherwise all you want, but after Nov. 7th you're going to feel silly. It's good to be optimistic, but this prediction is just delusional.

Silly? by Cepan

http://matwellworld.blogspot.com/

Lets wait and see. If i am wrong I won't feel silly, but just disappointed in voters who failed to show up.

THAT will be the only way this does not happen.

Since you said it ..... by tickedofftoo

it MUST be true. I will just crawl under my bed and stay there until further notice.

Newsweek by eddiebear

What about the latest Newsweak poll out today? So far, I can't find any demographics.

Sitting out is a vote for KOS.

Newsweek by Cepan

http://matwellworld.blogspot.com/

You mean the Newsweek poll owned and paid for by The Washington Post company?

Oh THAT's and unbiased poll.

I think Santorum will lose by 7 and Murtha will win by 15.

I also think Dems will win the House 220-215 and Senate will be 51-49 republican.

that the GOP will keep both houses of Congress, though by smaller majorities (maybe three seats at the most in the Senate, one to five seats in the House). However of all the imperiled GOP incumbents Santorum is the least likely to be reelected. I really don't understand the obessesion with him. Over on NRO KLo almost gets hysterical when she contemplates his defeat. You'd be better off focusing time, money and energy on Corker, Talent, Keane, and Steele.

obsession with defeating Santorum. But I suspect its for the same reason that conservatives like him so much. He is a young, charismatic, eloquent advocate for conservative values who has been rock solid on the war and life issues. Kos sees him as a major threat due to his potential as a leader of the conservative movement. He is an unapologetic optimistic advocate for same like Reagan.

As a convert to conservative ideology and a normal appreciator for charisma in a leader, I would be hard pressed to name a better conservative than Santorum when combining those two attributes.

I refuse to believe that Rick can lose to Casey. Casey is a dud.

If he loses the senate race, he should run for governor, and then run for president.

OK...I'm confused here...and am feeling like I've lost my grip on reality...Santorum lost to Casey in 2006...He's not running for the same Senate seat 2 years later is he?

carpet-bagging his way to Kansas to run for Governor in 2010. I would say the same thing about any effective conservative that gets the boot due to the changing demographics of his present state. There are lots of folks in Kansas that would look past the carpet bagging here because they love Senator Santorum. Our current Governor is a joke, and we could really use a man of Santorum's caliber here.

I suspect they went back to LIFE between election days since one can't STAY HOME at the polling place for 729 days!

I would take the offer but if I am right you buy it yourself and I will get some for myself and then we can drink it together at 3 AM when the networks are FORCED to call it for Republicans. Think of me when you toast the GOP victory.
