Several Weekend Topics

1. Ted Kennedy, who cares. After the way he treated Hillary Clinton and the disrespectful remarks he made about her being a possible VP candidate you know I don't care that he almost died.
I wonder if the media would pay this much attention if this were John McCain.
Then again would Conservatives care? The way I see it they didn't want McCain either.
The only people that like McCain are Reagan Democrats and Moderates.
2. The Republican's biggest problem is that they failed to expand beyond the graveyard that is now the Conservative base. With the Democratic party pushing out the old Clinton centrist wing of the 1990s, a wing that dominated the party for over a decade; the new Democratic leaders(Nancy Pelosi, Rahm Emanuel, John Kerry) finally have their "dream" candidate(Barack Obama) to carry out their "progressive" agendas.
3. Am I alone when I say the only reason why John Kerry and Ted Kennedy endorsed Barack Obama was to stay relevant inside their own party?
4. Barack Obama reacting the way he did to George Bush's speech in Israel proves that he knows he muffed up. In fact his whole campaign knows he muffed up because soon after his knee jerk press conference his foreign policy plan was pulled from his website. It's too late guys. We all know he's a naive Jimmy Carter clone. The cat's out of the bag.
5. Hillary Clinton was the best thing Democrats had to win the White House. Their own arrogance and selfish agenda driven nature just lost it for them.
6. Chris Matthews and Keith Olbermann....Need I Say More?
7. Despite what Rush Limbaugh says John McCain is the right kind of Republican. Face facts guys. What you see is the future. McCain, Crist, Guliani, thats the new Republican party. They're going moderate. This ain't Reagan's party anymore. Let the dear man rest. He was a great leader and one of the best presidents we've ever had. But he's not president anymore. Let it go.
8. To my Conservative friends out there. Don't fight the Liberals. Let everyone see for themselves. Trust me the left is always rejected by the mainstream. You have nothing to worry about. All is not lost.
9. I'll Never watch MSNBC again. I keep making that mistake. As a Hillary supporter and likely McCain supporter I forget how bias they are. As was the case when Keith Olbermann put on this little display:
I begin to call Keith a sad, pathetic jerk with a head as big as his ego. Yet I must refrain because I remember, he used to be on ESPN.

John Edwards was clearly the best candidate. Even though his positions were far left, he knew how to sell them using stories about normal people and how they would have been better off today if his agenda had been implemented, even if his reproduction of the story didn't always match the full truth of what actually happened.
