Journalist Steve Roberts castigated Nancy Pelosi on WABC Radio New York this morning over her handling of the Turkish Armenian resolution.

Morally, was it genocide the way that Turkey handled Armenians in 1915, Roberts rhetorically asked morning hosts Curtis Sliwa and Ron Kuby? Yes, but was it good judgement allowing this resolution to damage relations with one of our best allies in the Middle East?

And is she really our best choice for speaker at this point?

He was doubtful that she was.

The foregoing is not an exact transcript, just my summary of his comments as regular guest on program; I had been listening on Internet broadcast.

He's about as MSM as it gets. From his official biography:

"After graduating from Harvard magna cum laude in 1964, he joined The New York Times as research assistant to James ‘Scotty’ Reston, then the paper’s Washington bureau chief. His 25-year career with the Times included assignments as bureau chief in Los Angeles and Athens, and as Congressional and White House correspondent. He was a senior writer at U.S. News for seven years where he is now a contributing editor. "

He is married to NPR commentator Cokie Roberts.

From her biography

Roberts was born Mary Martha Corinne Morrison Claiborne Boggs on December 27, 1943, in New Orleans, LA, to parents Hale and Lindy Boggs. Her father was Majority Leader of the House, and her mother became a member of Congress after his death.
