Stupid Republicans

In this modern era of politics we have a lot of categories for republican lawmakers. You have Rinos or democrats posing as republicans. Then you have moderate republicans and conservative republicans. I would like to add a new category. STUPID REPUBLICANS. Here is the latest stupid republican quote from Montana Senator, Conrad Burns.

A new video released this week by Conrad Burns Democratic challenger, Jon Tester, shows Burns, 71, joking to a crowd in June about how a "nice little Guatemalan man" fixing up his house might be an illegal immigrant. "Could I see your green card?" Burns tells the crowd he asked the man. "And Hugo, says, 'No.' I said, 'Oh, gosh.'"

Talk about "stuck on stupid". Where do these guys come from?

Should we really be taking cheap shots at vunerable Republicans?

I agree that we need the category.

But I think it should be populated by all those rank and file GOP voters who seemingly spend their time trying to think up reasons not to vote Republican.

I don't see anything unusual about Burns comments. I'm not saying we should mimic the Democrats and ignore blatent criminality, like being caught taking bribes, but accusing our candidates of thought crimes seems to be taking things to the opposite extreme. Some of our people would find fault with Jesus if he was running. Can you believe what he did to those poor money changers in the temple? Is that the kind of character we want representing us?

Power hungry republicans, since that's why burns is.

Save the planet, Kill yourself

Looks like the "straight talk express" Is attacking Bush for saying the war was going to be easy.

I haven't googled it but I distinctly recall the President telling us it would be a long hard struggle that might take years. Did I hear wrong?

"Nothing works like freedom, Nothing succeeds like liberty"
Kyle

After all, he showed the proper "sensitivity" toward an illeg-- oops I mean an undocumented worker.

And just as Burns had gotten himself back up to even in the polls in the wake of his last dumb*** comment about the firefighters, now he has to go and make himself look like an *** all over again.

If he makes a third one, he's sunk.

I agree with kyle8. Doesn't anyone remember the second debate with Kerry on '04. God Almighty...Saturday Night Live had a field day with President Bush saying how haaard it would be. Even the MSM put together clips of bush saying it would be hard and take along time. I'm fed up with John McKain I can't wait to campain against him up here in MICHIGAN.

By the by,I think the '08 election will be Romney v Rodham-Clinton.

From my lips to God' Ears!
