Protesters Push Pelosi Over the Edge

'Can We Drill Your Brains?' Pelosi Responds to 'Drill Here, Drill Now' Chants

On the 18th day of the House GOP’s energy protest in the U.S. Capitol, Republicans chided Speaker Nancy Pelosi for refusing to allow a vote on their all-of-the-above energy plan. Meanwhile, 1,700 miles across the country in Denver, a crowd of angry protesters sent that message to Pelosi directly.

During a press conference at the Democratic National Convention, Pelosi was repeatedly interrupted by protesters chanting “drill here, drill now.” They waved McCain signs and other pro-drilling placards. Pelosi’s angry response: “Can we drill your brains?”

Ed Frank of Americans for Prosperity has the video. Ed also played the role of intrepid reporter, following Pelosi after the event. After boasting about taking public transportation to the event, Ed discovered the Pelosi left in a big SUV. I wonder if she’s buying carbon offsets while in Denver?

    When I was a correction’s officer, I saw a lot of crazy people. She has the same exact crazy look in her eyes as they do. Maybe she got some bad Bo-Tox or something.

      We have a Republic not a Democracy. So let me get this straight. The way to get out of these trillions of dollars in debt is to elect an empty suit who has to date promised over one trillion dollars of more debt? Hummm and let me follow this scintillating intelligence one step further by saying that I remember Jimmy Carter smiling and shaking hands with Yasser Arafat. I guess that was OK. Oh yeah that is when he forced Israel to stop from crushing the PLO in Beirut which would have ended so much of this decades ago.
      You are the reason I am not a Democrat I have an IQ over 50.

        The stuff Wesley Clark first said yes Saddam was after and then lied and said no it never happened. Tons of the stuff they just shipped to Canada to dispose of. And not to mention the WMD he used against his own people. His nuke program he shipped off to Tripoli only to have his buddy Gahdaffi give it to us out of fear we’d come for him next. All those gas and biological war heads…hmmm yeah thats all nothing riiiight.

            YES I DO! I wanna know how people pull the wool over their own eyes and just choose to ignore facts to mold their own personal realities.
            I wanna know how an entire political party, in this country, can choose sides AGAINST their own country in a military conflict and still exist?
            I wanna know how come even after all the success we are having in this conflict they can just ignore it and still latch on to we are losing and we have to cut and run.
            I wanna know how a political party, in this country, can nominate a presidential candidate strictly because of race which they say we are supposed to ignore as far as the job goes.
            I wanna know a political party, in this country, can nominate a presidential candidate whose friends and mentors are terrorists, thieves, America hating preachers and disgraced politicians and that party is still taken seriously.
            And most of all I wanna know how, in this country, almost 50% of the population doesn’t see in Obama what is so apparent to me. He is the most
            un-American, un-patriotic, un-qualified
            candidate that the Democratic Party has EVER gotten behind for President. Surpassing even Jimmy Carter.
            Of course this is all just my humble opinion…..but man I wish I could understand.

    And Obama is recycling most, if not all, of Jimmy Carter’s old failed policies… including the one that led to the rise of the current mullahocracy in Iran.

    Yep, by that definition, Obama is insane.

    Something tells me you’re not old enough to remember Carter, or the term “stagflation” that was coined during his term, tho. Tell your mom you’re done with the computer and go to bed… 4th grade starts soon!

    The clip of this comment must be shown in every Blue Dog Congressional District. Running against Pelosi and the Democratic leadership on this is a no-brainer, and a winning issue.

    TODAY (TODAY), we are a nation in trillions of dollars of debt, we have over 4000 troops dead for WMDs that were never found.

    I’m old enough to remember Reagan GIVING Saddam WMDs. I remember rumsfeld smiling a big ole bright smile while shaking saddam’s hand…

    we go to war and CUT taxes, then PRINT more money to cover the cost of the war…

    but, i’ll stop (for now) there is a rock outside that would probably understand this better.
