The best hope on energy would be for Pelosi to reject any chance of debate, or any a compromise energy plans supported by the Republican squishes on the Gang of 10.

I work for the nuclear power industry.

I'm surrounded by statistics that show the projections for future energy consumption in the US.

The numbers are disheartening, given the current energy environment.

The US needs to explore, implement, and maximize its use of every type of energy production.

Nothing should be "off the table."

Failure to pursue an "all sources - now!" approach bespeaks a complete ignorance of the facts.

The US needs to aggressively tackle this issue.

When then Mayor Palin was running for Governor, she was involved in a debate regarding Alaska's role in the energy mix.

Palin is 100% dead on, and I highly recommend readers spend the time to watch this video which was re-aired by C-Span over the weekend.

http://www.c-spanarchives.org/library/index.php?mainpage=productvideoinfo&productsid=195195-1

Note, after watching this you will see why the small town Mayor beat the incumbent and popular Democrat Tony Knowles.

Enjoy,
Bill
