Don’t Forget Cal 10!

If you live out in California’s 10th Congressional District, east of the Bay, remember there is a special election today for Congress.  Democratic nominee John Garamendi has run an all out, down the line liberal campaign, including a hearty embrace of the most liberal health care reforms.  The district has been reliably Democratic for over a decade, and voted over 60% for Obama, but Republicans do win some down ballot races and the GOP candidate, David Harmer, has run a good, well-financed campaign.  Harmer is a solid conservative who once worked at the Heritage Foundation and has published with the Cato Institute.  A Harmer win would be a big upset, but it’s not at all inconceivable.  A win by Harmer - or even a strong showing - might do more than anything in the East Coast races to send moderate Democrats fleeing the Pelosi/Obama agenda.  If you’re out there, be sure to vote, make some calls, send some emails, and drag some friends to the polls to vote for Harmer.

David Harmer for US House - CA-10

Californiasam: "Susan in Glendale" has signed up to be an Associate Delegate in Glendale

ColdWarrior Tuesday, November 3rd at 12:41PM EST (link)

I tracked her down and called her. I told her she needed to become a Associate Delegate (California “precinct committeeman” equivalent) in Glendale. She didn’t realize the position existed so I informed her. She’s well on her way and was interviewed about it on Breitbart’s B-Cast Live. You read all about it, and watch the video, at

http://www.susaninglendale.com.

Three times during the B-Cast interview she mentioned how important it is for conservatives to get into the Party as a voting member of it so that conservatives can elect new, conservative leadership and influence the outcome of Republican primary elections to make sure the BEST conservative candidate wins and goes on to the general election.

Thanks again for all you are doing. If you’re not already an associate delegate, go here:

Thank you for getting involved!

American first, conservative second and Republican precinct committeeman by necessity.

Update on CA10

Cheryl Tuesday, November 3rd at 8:24PM EST (link)

Huge volunteer turnout. I just left and people were still showing up.

On the R voters I spoke with (and judging from the those conversations around me), they were voting or had already done so.

Also encouraging, those volunteering weren’t there for the first time, they’d been part of the phoning campaign. I’m amazed every time I hear someone say you can only vote in moderates or that CA voters just aren’t conservatives. It was very evident in the make up of those who volunteered (including a bunch of UC Berkeley students.

It’s been said if the district’s weren’t so gerrymandered we’d be a red state. I believe it.

Thanks Cheryl

Keep us posted, and thanks to all you guys standing strong.

Your welcome, Jack and one more thing about CA10

We were told that there were both registered independents AND democrats there to volunteer (I guess they didn’t want us making a jackass jokes so they pointed this out).
