DHS Hired An Anti-Free Speech SJW With Interesting Thoughts On 9/11

Not only is our government omitting parts of transcripts, it’s hiring on people who think omitting parts of our constitution would be a good idea too. Specifically parts that involve freedom of speech. The Daily Caller uncovered a interesting fact about the DHS’s hired hands when dealing with extremism, and one person in particular has caught some attention.

Laila Alawa is an immigrant of Syrian background who was hired onto the Homeland Security Advisory Council for the Countering Violent Extremism Subcommittee. She’s 25 years old, and according to her, she immigrated to the U.S. at the age of 10, but will always be Syrian.

In an article titled “I Cry When You Ask me About My Syria” she details her love and loyalty to Syria.

“My Syria was always my family. Losing part of my Syria meant losing part of me. But I will always be Syrian. I will always be from Syria. I will always be of Syria.” she writes.

Claiming loyalty to a nation that many a terrorist calls home isn’t bad enough. Alawa is also a racist, anti-free speech social justice warrior who thinks 9/11 changed the world for the better.

Here are some selections from her Twitter account.

Right after the Boston bombing, Pamela Geller tweeted about simple facts on the jihad inspired Boston bombing, which Alawa didn’t seem too keen on.

Apparently, Alawa has different ideas as to the meaning of the phrase “free speech.” Intolerance and hate apparently only applies when speaking about radical Muslims.

But not white people, who says won’t be the dominant majority much longer.

Alawa also doesn’t like it when you talk about American exceptionalism. Odd, coming from someone who works for the United States government as an advisor.

Speaking of America fondly seems to inspire Alawa’s social justice warrior leanings to come spewing forth in a Tumblr style torrent of racism that apparently can’t be challenged through debate.

Very interesting, are her thoughts surrounding 9/11. She seems to believe that 9/11 was a positive event that opened up the door for talks about diversity, and not a atrocity that brought on the deaths of 3,000 innocent people. Alawa even goes so far as to make this about her victimhood.

I find it interesting that our government, who can’t help but go soft on radical Islam to the point where they’re even afraid to mention it by name, is hiring on someone who outright sympathizes with it when it’s publicly attacked.

To put it simply, having people like this in our government isn’t going to bring further understanding between the Muslim community and the rest of America. It will only bring further hatred. People who have contempt for the country can’t be trusted to have its best interests at heart. Alawa herself seems to have the interests of another country, and people in mind.

If we continue putting people like Alawa in positions of power, then more people will die.
