Democrat candidate for President Joe Biden seems to call a lot of “lids” these days. A “lid” means that he’s not doing anything campaign-wise for that day.

For those of you keeping count, this is the eighth time this month that Biden has called it a day. This time, he did it in the morning at 8:30 am. That’s hardly past breakfast.

We can speculate all day as to why he keeps doing this but I think it’s pretty obvious as to why. Biden seems like he’s hardly able to get through an interview with the media. It’s hard to imagine how hard it is for him to get through an entire day of campaigning.

The election is right around the corner and the first debate is just days away. Perhaps Biden is prepping for this debate with everything he’s got. Perhaps he just needs a rest. Either way, it’s not a good sign. A regular candidate can balance the necessary time between debate prep and campaigning. Biden is clearly not doing well.

But what’s President Donald Trump doing?

Well, for one, he’s running the United States of America, pulling it out of the nosedive Democrats are currently trying to keep it in thanks to unnecessary COVID-19 lockdowns, being nominated for Nobel peace prizes for arranging peace treaties in the Middle-East, and holding highly attended campaign rallies at a breakneck pace.

Meanwhile, today, Trump will be, once again, getting up in front of the American people and a hostile press in the Rose Garden in order to give the nation an update on the Coronavirus pandemic at 2 p.m.

Trump has been combatting the Coronavirus and taking the necessary steps to save lives while Biden was against every step that Trump took. Even Dr. Anthony Fauci admits that Trump’s moves saved lives. If Biden acted as he indicated, with a refusal to shut our borders because it would have been “xenophobic” then far more lives would have likely been lost.

This is the same Biden who said 2o0 million more people would die from the virus. A gaffe, but a huge one to be sure.

The former VP can’t seem to keep a lot of things straight, and on top of that, he can’t even seem to muster up the energy to campaign for the position of most powerful world leader.

The office of the presidency isn’t a joke. Just looking at what it does to people’s physical bodies after eight years; it’s clear that the job takes a lot and Biden seems to be able to handle very, very little.
