Good stuff, but if republicans retake power they cannot repeat what they did during the Bush years regarding spending. The reality is, entitlements and military spending constitute the majority if the budget. Unless republicans are serious about cutting entitlements, including ObamaCare, as well as reducing the military budget, all this talk is nothing more than an academic exercise. While earmarks get all the bad press, (and deservedly so) the real money is in entitlements and the military budget.
