Senator Harry Reid’s Failing Memory

Tonight was the big Nevada Senate debate between Republican Sharron Angle and Democrat Incumbent Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid in Las Vegas.  Mitch Fox of PBS, the debate moderator, asked Reid a very specific question.  Reid gave a very misleading answer.

Christine O’Donnell is the buzz in Washington, D.C. today.  She joins Ron Johnson and Joe Miller as the most recent additions to the Tea Party push for constitutional conservatism in the Capitol.  The House has 23 votes scheduled on the Suspension Calendar.  The Senate will continue debate on H.R.5297, the Small Business Jobs bill.  Cloture was invoked on the bill thanks to Senator George Voinovich (R-OH) giving Democrats the necessary vote | Read More »

Tea Party Activists are likely to have another ally in Washington this Fall — Mike Lee, the Republican nominee for Senate from Utah.  Lee will join Republican nominee from Kentucky Rand Paul and the Republican nominee from Nevada Sharron Angle as non-establishment Tea Party activist candidates for Senate.  If these candidates are sworn into office, expect the Republican establishment to sound more conservative next year.
