The good Senator should go to work for a home lender, or perhaps an insurance company.

The Boston Globe is going to need a federal bail out, so perhaps the Obama administration could get him an editorial position there. ( for a look at what a Globe's editorial board might look like, you can view: http://firstconservative.com/blog/political-humor/political-humor-closing-the-boston-globe )

One does hope he continues his campaign though.. It will be wonderful to see him publicly defeated.

First of all, Rell would have to sign the bill, and I am not certain the Dems have enough of a majority in both chambers to overide her if she did.

Secondly, I doubt Dodd is going to resign. He may not run for re-election if his colleagues convince him he can't win, but I doubt he will resign early because nothing he has down is bad enough to force a Democrat out. Needless to say, a Republican in such a situation would have been forced out long ago.

is it poor polling for Dodd that they are setting up a way to get the seat back from Reps in the future? Say a Rep wins the seat, the Dems will go to work on some Macaca moment.
