Former republican governors here in Taxachusetts, the Marxist welfare have an image problem

As former Governor of Massachusetts Romney he was well known as absent Romney. He always had some other special interest and little interest in the individual. His move to reduce taxes was offset by calling them fees and resulted in bigger government to collect all those fees. Romney’s health care reform how ever well intended let socialist health care get a foot in the door. If we define success as getting legislation passed then Romney is as fiscally conservative as GW Bush. He was for abortion when he ran for governor and then said he was against abortion when he ran for President. How much can you trust someone that uses conservative values as a stepping stone?

Former Governor Cellucci was fiscal conservative but anti gun and a social liberal. Former Governor Cellucci’s had pattern in his party of naming close political allies to key jobs and not by qualification, one of the most controversial appointees was to Logan and Massport. In 1999, the major airlines at Logan and Massport were fined a total of $178,000 for at least 136 security violations over the previous two years. After some 52 warnings of possible terrorist activity we had 9|11. American Flight 11 and United Flight 175 took off from Logan. Within an hour, they had been taken over by terrorists and flown into New York's twin towers. How much can you trust a republican governor that takes a large responsibility for bringing down the twin towers?

We need an outsider to run in the GOP, no more RINOs. I had run across Dr. Gerry Dembrowski that is in running for governor here and is as most of us fed up with the SNAFU here. I must give him at least ten points for preaching from the constitution and appeared to be a political outsider with common sense. Ok, I’ll give him ten more points. However he is up against a huge liberal propaganda campaign with an incumbent with tons of favors to hand out. However Dr. Gerry Dembrowski has backing that is much more willing to put more boots on the ground such as the 9|12ers here. I see the Mass GOP missing out on a huge opportunity in not having attacked Deval Patrick in the Mass media in every part of the state now.

People in Taxachusetts, the Marxist welfare are hurting, not only do we have the state taxes going up we are having a flurry of town and city overrides to further increase taxes. There is a big SNAFU here with the stimulus funds. The towns and cities can’t afford all those studies required under the stimulus stipulations resulting in big construction layoffs. I think it would be fair to say federal tax increases are coming as well.

For those that don’t think this is a Marxist state, not only is the government after our guns but now they are after our microwave ovens. They want to limit their capacity to 500W, not be large enough to be able to fit an animal into, must be equipped with a motion sensor …. immediately turn off the cooking mechanism, no microwave oven may be sold at a yard sale or flea market, limit purchasing over the net and so on….

People here are really getting fed up with this crap and now is the time for the GOP to take over the state, but will they make a move?

I guess he's too busy. Mihos is a novelty with little chance. But an ineresting side note, he has Dick Morris in his camp. Baker is the CEO of Harvard Pilgrim and has no name recognition. He'll outpace Mihos once known.

MAss is a lost cause, but nationally, it does have an impact on NH. The demise of the Boston Globe will be a blessing for the GOP in NH

Deval ironically , has postioned himself to the Right of the legislature, hard to believe. Two things he has going for him is that he is not an outright crook like the imbedded hacks in the state house and the beaurocracies and he actually demanded some reforms before he raised taxes. Big whoop, I know.
