Fundraising is a slog, the polls are against you, and it doesn’t really look like you’re going to accomplish much anyway. And if things go badly, this is the thanks you’ll get.

Ask yourself: wouldn’t you rather get a lucrative lobbying job now, before your colleagues beat you to it?

I say that because it seems that she has quite a few challengers in the Democratic primary. I’ve seen some of the billboards and I must say shes beatable.

… To deflect all blame from himself, avoid all responsibility for anything negative, take all credit for anything positive, and to make up positive things to take credit for when they don’t exist.

He’s like a petulant, narcissistic child. A “Boy King”. Where have I heard that before?

I went deer hunting and visiting my ailing father in Alabama. Both were special times. I managed to get a small buck, killed over love since it is the rut in my area up there. Dad is slowly loosing the battle, and I spent time with him, far more important than politics. However, with little access to news, radio or the Internet I still managed to get excited over Brown’s victory. I wanted to give credit where credit is due to Redstate and others who forced the Establishment Republicans to actually take the fight to the Dems. As I said at my website, this is hopefully, the fatal stick in the eye for Reid and the rest of Obamacare’s supporters. I read a great article on the way back today in the American Spectator about how the voters of America tend to spank over reaching popular politicians like Lincoln, FDR, Wilson and more recently GWB.

The point of the article is we want to believe our leaders we elect do have our best interests at heart, but have no problem with smacking them around if we find they are less than faithful to us.

Hopefully, Obama has burned his last bridge and will spend the rest of his three years hobbling along.
