Just a minute, Randy.

Was it just me, or did Obama know the speaker’s name before he introduced himself? The first “hostile” questioner, who said he was an NRA member and “believed in the Constitution.” He asked how we were going to pay for the health care/health insurace bill.

I noticed that too.

I just figured that maybe the questions were cherry-picked (which is typical of most townhalls).

“Victory comes, though we know not when. We must be happy warriors until the end.

For those of you who struggle with what goes on, who see retreat and capitulation, and who feel like not just your political opponents, but those who hold dear all those things you hold as blasphemous — be cheerful. Be happy. Victory is already yours.

You must just have the courage to not get discouraged and have the will to fight on.” – Erick Erickson at RightOnline

Randy said his name off mike first and then Obama said Randy hold on. nt

“Never interrupt your enemy when he’s making a mistake.” Napoleon - Well, unless he is ruining your country! Common Cents

A cult of personality arises when a country’s leader uses mass media to create a heroic public image, often through unquestioning flattery and praise.[1] Cults of personality are often found in dictatorships.

I must have missed that. That’s a better explanation than what I feared (and George Claghorn voices)

Thanks, Common_Cents.
