Doin’ What Comes Naturally!

(Apologies to Irving Berlin)… We knew that Barack Obama was turning DC into a mecca for sucking at the public teat, but it perhaps was not as obvious until recently as to what extent this is occurring. RedState member Fred Maidment sent this blog entry from The American to me this morning. It illustrates the depth to which Obama is influenced on “governmentalization” of the | Read More »
The Left Needs Its Mouth Washed Out With Soap
By: Bill S (Diary) | November 10th at 08:00 AM |
In early 2009, angered at the rapid growth of governmental interference through its “housing bailout” plan, CNBC commentator Rick Santelli stated on the air that it was time for a “Chicago Tea Party” to voice outrage against the socialization of the American capitalist system. The subsequent nation-wide, grass-roots movement of protests has been dubbed the “Tea Party” movement, and its participants as “tea partiers”. The | Read More »
GDP = “Government Domestic Product”
By: Bill S (Diary) | October 31st at 05:00 PM |
Much was made of the 3.5% annualized GDP growth that was reported this week. The Bush-Blamer-In-Chief stated that the figures were “an affirmation that this recession is abating and showed the steps we’ve taken have made a difference”. Really? Have they made a “difference”? Have they accomplished anything that will last beyond the massive amount of American taxpayer money that has been thrown at the | Read More »
The Mentor and the Protégé
By: Bill S (Diary) | October 24th at 02:00 PM |
We’re all familiar with Barack Hussein Obama (mmm mmm mmm) and his fondness for expressing his condescending, arrogant, self-inflated attitude via a nose-upturned pose. It seems that his protégé, (Where In The World Is) Robin Carnahan, has adopted the same approach. That’s all we need in Missouri – a Barry wannabe who turns her nose up at her constituents. Just like her mentor. (Consider this | Read More »
Obama and the 9/11 murderers
By: Bill S (Diary) | September 10th at 08:58 PM |
Tomorrow is the eight anniversary of the most heinous terrorist attack ever perpetrated on the United States. Thousands of our friends, family and fellow Americans were murdered in cold blood by vicious terrorists who hated America and what we stand for. On September 19, 2001, a story ran in the Hyde Park Herald containing then-State-Senator Barack Obama’s response to the 9/11 tragedy. In this piece | Read More »
The Health Care overhaul – it’s all about the “O”
By: Bill S (Diary) | July 25th at 12:54 PM |
Presidents generally start thinking about their legacy in the months before their terms end. In the case of Barack Obama, his self-absorption began shortly after his election (well, it actually probably began shortly after birth, but I have no information about that period of his life…). He has thrived on the cult of personality that developed around him during his campaign and thereafter. He’s addicted | Read More »
Conservatives put Obama over the top?
By: Bill S (Diary) | December 2nd at 11:43 PM |
This article is intriguing, even though I’m not sure I really believe it in total. But he makes a couple of interesting observations: Most conservatives did show up on Election Day, but a significant number voted Democrat. Mr. Obama picked up one-third more conservative voters than Sen. John Kerry, at 20 percent. Self-identified conservatives in exit polling comprised 34 percent of voters in both 2004 | Read More »
Britney, Paris, Barack – what do these three have in common?
By: Bill S (Diary) | July 30th at 12:43 PM |
HT to Drudge for pointing out this beauty of a campaign ad from John McCain. I take back what I said about JM not having the ‘nads to run an aggressive campaign. It is perfect timing for this particular ad, given The Obamessiah’s cult-of-personality trip overseas. As the Guinness guys say, “BRILLIANT!”
