He is far too left-wing for West Virginia anyway. Here today, he calls for FCC to take Fox News (and MSNBC) off the air. He says it would be a favor to “our ability to do work”. I for one, am quite glad that Rockefeller can not do so much work. We need to find a good candidate that can beat him. He has a long record of votes that I am sure are unpopular in West Virginia – Healthcare, amnesty for illegal aliens, etc.

In the Alaska Republican Senate primary, Joe Miller leads incumbent liberal Lisa Murkowski by 3% with 98% of ballots counted. However, there are also a few thousand mail-in ballots so the fat lady has not sung yet. If Miller wins, this will really send shock messages. He seems like a terrific candidate, although I hear that he will have a tough general election fight.
