Democrats Have No Use For The Flag

Flags_3

A worker at Denver’s Invesco Field saved thousands of unused flags from the Democratic National Convention that were headed for the garbage.

Even though The Democrats had no use for the flags, the Republicans did. The Democrats’ discarded flags were used at a McCain/Palin event in Colorado Springs.

You would think that when your standard bearer has a record of disrespecting the flag, and even replaces the American flag with the Obama logo, his campaign would be a lot more sensitive to the issue.

Why didn?t the dems use those flags at their rally today? Is this the type of waste we can expect from their government programs? I say yes.

It used to be in London, now it’s in AZ. I can get a deal for cash.

Some people are just born stupid. And the Democrats count on them.

Call us when the Democrats are confident enough in their narrative to try to get a felony warrant for grand theft.

      Any second now…

Thank God I am no longer subjected to the daily disrepect to the American flag by hateful, unpatriotic students. After teaching history at inner-city schools, and observing blatant demeaning acts and denegration of the flag and what it stands for, the treatment of the discarded flags is exactly what I would expect at any event where Obama is the focus.

Unfortunately, total disrepect of the flag and this country has become the order of the day across this land in many schools. The high school where I last taught had to force the principal to implement, even though saying the pledge is a requirement in Texas Public schools. Why the hesitation? Good question. The principal himself is an Obama state delegate.

Couldn’t help but think of former Gov. Mike Huckabee’s recalling at the RNC a story about the teacher who said students would have to earn a desk before they could sit down. The public school I worked in would be void of any seated students.

Every single morning only after my piercing glares (we were not allowed to scold them in any way about not pledging allegiance because that “violated” their rights) students would reluctantly stand, on the second or third stanza, not placing hand over heart, talking during the Pledge, never reciting the pledge. This past year, not one recitation by any of the twenty-something students all year. This was EVERY SINGLE MORNING.

Teach citizenship? Are you kidding? High school students in the inner-city hate America and with the Obama candidacy, now I understand why. It’s all very clear to me, now. They should all have to be airlifted to Iraq, and plopped down defenseless.

Students don’t deserve any respect because they give none to their country, teachers, or themselves. Went back to nursing where at least patients appreciate your care and nurturing. I have given up on the minority youth in this country.

Never thought I would feel that way, but it comes after years of watching respect erode to the point of no return. Yes, Obama is their man – what a stand-up guy.

I am a collector of different historical American flags and a buff of US flag history. Stories like this really piss me off.
