One of the mysteries of the “socialist surge” this year, especially Obamacare has been the indifference to voter retribution in the 2010 mid-terms.

One theory posited is that ACORN can still deliver, despite what polls and voter anger say. Murtha proved that last time. Until disproven, we consider this to be a valid theory, but as I said, “it remains to be saw.”

Another theory is that many have been bought off with multi-year packages in Soros-type sponsored think tanks and 3x-5x their Congressional salaries…and for most, they won;t even have to show up for work.

Since Dem’s are notorious about paying taxes, anyway, these are indeed sweet gigs.

This only points out that the People may need to find a way to punish offending congressmen and women, even retroactively, if we are to re-instill that “fear of the people” so necessary for an honest republican form of government.

    Just food for thought.

Note that all of the Republicans on this list are running for higher office. If we look at true retirements from public life, the total is 5 Democrats and 0 Republicans. That is probably a good sign.

We need to do as Dean did while Dem Chair, go to the people, get them registered in the smaller towns, etc., where many do not vote. Most of those are more conservative. In other words, we need to lear to work again.

She keeps her seat in the Senate while she is galivanting around Texas running for Governor. She is hoping the Democrat wins and she can return back to her Democratic Party, maybe as Treasurer of Texas again!

…when is Perry gonna get off his a$$ and reduce property taxes!!! Perry’s had 2 terms and no property tax relief in Texas!!!! Not that KBH would reduce them either but Perry needs to have a little more bite on this issue rather than be all bark. There is leadership in the State Senate (Dan Patrick) on this issue. Perry needs to be the leader.

I had a job where I could leave my work floundering while I ran around the country (paid for by someone else) campaigning for another job. And collect my salary + all the perks while doing it. And if I don’t happen to get that new job, I can just go back to the old one like nothing happened. sheeeees!

Davis’s district is 64 percent black, and was gerrymandered into existence in order to elect a black. His replacement will be decided in the Democrat primary this spring. The leading announced candidate right now is a former t-v info babe who’s become part of the incompetent Jefferson County Commission which has wrecked county government and finances since the mid-1990′s and turned Jefferson into an underwriter’s nightmare and a leading candidate for Chapter 11. Davis is the odds-on favorite to win the Democratic primary, but no shoo-in for the general. He may have to face the Ten Commandments Judge Roy Moore, who’s very popular. A couple of other Republicans also have strong followings. Tim James, another strong conservative, son of a former governor, and former GOP state senator Bradley Byrne, whom I would call easily right of center. The GOP will take dead aim on Davis as a close friend and buddy of BHO(law school classmates), who got 21 percent here in ’08 and wrote off the state altogether. Michelle-ma-belle made one appearance here at a limo-lib-lawyer’s home by-invitation-only, then gottohaleouttatown. Davis looks good in the polls right now, but there’s a lot of water yet to go over that dam
