Romney hits Obama for cutting $716 billion from Medicare to pay for ObamaCare

By: Dan Spencer (Diary)  |  August 14th at 04:45 PM  |

The Romney campaign has released a powerful new television ad contrasting the Romney/ Ryan plan, which strengthens Medicare and protects the commitments made to current seniors, against Obama’s $716 billion cuts from Medicare. Watch the new ad, called “Paid In.”:

Nine percent of Obama voters now support Romney

By: Dan Spencer (Diary)  |  August 7th at 11:00 AM  |

Gallup reports that 9 percent of 2008 Obama voters have switched and now support Romney, while only 5 percent of McCain voters support President Obama. Worse for Obama, only 86 percent of voters who say they voted for Obama in 2008 are backing Obama again this year, while 92 percent of McCain voters are supporting Republican candidate Mitt Romney. Obama still campaigning on the taxpayer dime

By: Dan Spencer (Diary)  |  July 28th at 02:46 PM  |

In today’s New York Times we learn that  President Obama, in a desperate effort to save his own job, is again spending taxpayer money for political campaign purposes. In light of yesterday’s depressing Gross Domestic Product (GDP) news, Obama should again pivot and focus time on saving everyone else’s job. The country’s GDP growth slowed to an anemic 1.5%, and the Obama campaign ought to | Read More »

Blowing up the Romney vs. Obama dead heat meme

By: Dan Spencer (Diary)  |  July 14th at 02:17 PM  |

Friday I spoke with WBYZ 94.5 Radio’s Wild Bill McKubby about my recent article, “Romney extends lead among Independents to 14 percent.” During the interview we blow up mainstream media’s meme that the presidential race tied. We also take   Obama to task for his $trillion deficits, his 50% increase in the national debt and his incessant Pinocchio campaign falsehoods. You can listen to the interview | Read More »

Romney extends lead among Independents to 14 percent

By: Dan Spencer (Diary)  |  July 10th at 11:00 AM  |

In the new ABC News/Washington Post poll, former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney extends his lead among Independents to 14 points, 53-39 percent. Two months ago, a  POLITICO/George Washington University Battleground poll found Romney had a ten-point lead among the critical Independent voters. The mainstream media is touting the poll as showing the race is “dead even” — a 47-47 percent Obama-Romney contest among registered voters. | Read More »

Romney accepts ObamaTax decision: Calls Obama out for broken tax pledge

By: Dan Spencer (Diary)  |  July 5th at 04:30 PM  |

Mitt Romney tells CBS News chief political correspondent Jan Crawford, that he accepts the Supreme Court’s decision that President Obama’s individual mandate is “a tax.” In the Crawford interview Romney said there is no way around the Court’s decision: “I said that I agreed with the dissent, and the dissent made it very clear that they felt it was unconstitutional. Obama takes another excursion in taxpayer-funded million dollar buses

By: Dan Spencer (Diary)  |  July 5th at 12:07 PM  |

President Obama is off on another campaign tour utilizing his two $1.1 million buses he had us buy for him so his campaign, unlike the Romney campaign, wouldn’t have to pay the bus fare. Along with a scheduled stop for ice cream on Thursday and attending a full fledged ice cream social on Friday, Obama intends to hype his taxpayer-funded so-called investment in manufacturing. Romney refused to take Obama’s immigration bait

By: Dan Spencer (Diary)  |  June 19th at 03:30 PM  |

Mitt Romney has outfoxed the Obama Campaign and its main stream media allies. As explained by Breitbart’s John Nolte, Obama’s extralegal scheme to grant amnesty/immunity to certain “younger” illegal aliens was a clever attempt set to trap Romney in a treacherous catch-22 position: This was the plan: 1. Congratulations to President Obama on his 100th round of golf

By: Dan Spencer (Diary)  |  June 17th at 03:56 PM  |

Today, President Obama completed his 100th (documented) round of golf. In celebration of this milestone, Duane Lester of All American Blogger made the following video: Obama is working hard, at least at playing golf. In less than three-and-a-half years he has played 100 rounds of golf. Romney’s ‘Fine?’ response to Obama’s ‘the private sector is doing fine’ press conference

By: Dan Spencer (Diary)  |  June 10th at 12:01 PM  |

The Romney campaign has released a powerful new web video, “Fine?.” The new video responds to President Obama’s out of touch “the private sector is doing fine” comment with snippets of middle class workers talking about their experiences struggling with the realities of the Obama economy: “We’ve seen layoffs, cutbacks.” “When it’s all said and done I’m making $200 a month.” “I’ve been looking for | Read More »

Obama really does believe ‘the private sector is doing fine’

By: Dan Spencer (Diary)  |  June 9th at 05:55 PM  |

President Obama is trying to fight back against the hue and cry raised over his saying the private sector is doing fine. Saying the private sector is doing fine may have been a blunder, but it wasn’t a gaffe. It may have been a revelation to some, to others it was a confirmation. Veterans support Romney over Obama by 24%

On Memorial Day, Gallup reported that U.S. veterans support Mitt Romney over Barack Obama for president by 24 percent — 58 percent to 34 percent. This is a  finding that is likely to doom Obama’s efforts  to gain support among military voters. According to NPR’s Greg Allen, the Obama campaign hopes to capitalize on what the Obamacrats perceive as a  generational change in the military.  | Read More »

    Obama’s campaign restart stumble

By: Dan Spencer (Diary)  |  May 25th at 03:00 PM  |

It has been one stumble after another since President Obama officially launched, some would say restarted, his reelection campaign three weeks ago.  With the Dems’ Bain mutiny making a shambles of the what was going to be Obama’s main attack on Romney,  this may have been Obama’s worst week ever.  The  RNC  produced the following  video that makes that point:
