Perry now perceived as most electable

In the latest CNN poll Governor Perry maintains his lead over the rest of the Republican presidential contenders at 30%. But the big take away from the new poll is that Perry is now perceived as the most electable, with 42% saying he has the best chance of beating Obama next year. Perry releases campaign video

Texas Governor Rick Perry not only announced his candidacy for president at the RedState Gathering 2011 in Charleston, South Carolina today. He also released a new campaign video and has an event scheduled in New Hampshire this evening. The terrific video is about Gov. Perry’s vision for getting America working again:
