RNC’s Growth and Opportunity Project Wants Your Input For Developing an Action Plan

Last month, Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairman, Reince Priebus, launched an initiative focused on enlarging the Republican Party and improving future GOP campaigns.

Known as the Growth and Opportunity Project, it is chaired by five Republican leaders who will be charged with reviewing past practices and making recommendations.  The recommendations will involve the following key areas:

1) Campaign mechanics and ground game
2) Messaging
3) Fundraising
4) Demographic partners and allies
5) Third party groups
6) Campaign finance issues
7) Presidential primaries
8) Lessons learned from Democratic campaign tactics

The Project is chaired by five Republican leaders: Henry Barbour, Sally Bradshaw, Ari Fleischer, Zori Fonalledas and Glenn McCall. Input and insight will be sought from Republicans across the country. The Growth & Opportunity Project is currently reaching out to RNC members, grassroots activists, donors, elected officials, community leaders and others in order to develop a solid plan for the future.

The project is interested in hearing your ideas.  You can let your voice be heard by completing the following survey.

I will be abstaining from any involvement with the RNC. Currently, I view them as enemies of the conservative wing of the party and do not trust them one iota. I will join forces with like-minded conservatives who have the same view of the establishment Republicans as I do, and we will commit to growing the conservative movement inside the Republican Party.

A lot of people feel that way and plan to focus on growing the conservative base.

        Thank you for understanding.

A survey is not what is needed as you have preconceived notions that drive such surveys. What we need are ideas related to growing the economy.

      Solutions that don’t involve caving.

There are indeed solutions that are positive and economy building. Energy is probably our number one asset in this fight. Obama has drawn a line in the sand in his support for climate change which to his supporters means supporting what we are seeing are failed solar and wind and other alternative energy plays. We need to strongly support blowing the doors open on energy development. Open the rest of the gulf, open the west coast open the entire east coast offshore to development.

Require the oil companies that take these assets to pay hefty royalties that we then use to develop nuclear power sources such as Thorium of which we have the second largest reserves in the world and an all out assault to finally bring fusion energy to the world. This is a positive agenda that will fundamentally transform global energy dynamics.

I have a post coming on Energy policy.

I look forward to reading it.

    Why?

Ya’ll don’t care what we think.

See, this site is populated mainly by CONSERVATIVES. That’s a word whose definition you don’t seem to understand or care about.

Conservatives need to continue to vocalize displeasure with the establishment. And, to take action.

So I thought if the RNC was truly willing to listen, I’d give the survey a try. But immediately left the page since it seems they just want to increase their mailing list. Sad that I couldn’t even see the survey before giving out personal info. If the RNC doesn’t get that Conservatives value privacy, as a start, it’s hopeless.
