When we’ve all lost our freedoms as they are being stripped away daily by King O, his evolution statement, or as I prefer to call it, his revolution on the 90+ majority of Americans, on the issue that he said he supports gay marriage will be in the distant past. When all is lost for all, we all have nothing…straight or gay. Although I do hope the R superpacs keep it on the forefront until election day as I marked it on my calendar as the real beginning of the end of his presidency. His record alone should be enough to sew up the race against him but this is his watershed moment as proven by everyone else here that the voters consistently have spoken against gay marriage. But I digressed.

Can we please just analyze O’s exact words: “At a certain point, I’ve just decided that for me personally, it is important for me to go ahead and affirm that I think same sex couples should be able to get married.”

In one sentence he referred to himself 5 times! What normal person does that, let alone the president appearing to be supportive of gay rights? Of course he went on to say he thought it was a state’s right issue which tells you he has no legislative plans nor the ability to change your plight. Just more meaningless words. As I’ve said here many times, watch what he does, not what he says.

Gay people should see that his statement isn’t about you and your rights; it’s all about President Me-My-I as usual, all in the name of mighty donor dollars. Two days after his coming out statement, he flew on his private jet to Hollywood which costs taxpayers about $180,000 per hour, to scarf up money from the only people he really cares about…campaign donors. “Obviously yesterday we made some news,” he said to applause from the Hollywood audience. “But the truth is it was a logical extension of what America is supposed to be. It grew directly out of this difference in visions. Are we a country that includes everybody and gives everybody a shot and treats everybody fairly and is that going to make us stronger? Are we welcoming to immigrants? Are we welcoming to people who aren’t like us? Does that make us stronger? I believe it does. So that’s what’s at stake.”
