If I read something and have an opinion, I post my opinion.
If I read something and think it’s good, depending on how good, 5s and multiples there of.
If I think others should read it, then a recco.

I’m with you wcp and hope folks are now fully aware of his tactics.

I hope you got to read the whole paper from Obama in 1990 “Why Organize? Problems and Promise in the Inner City”- it’s a real eye opener that I stumbled upon somehow and find it disturbing that it foretold his way of thinking 22 years ago and he hasn’t changed a bit; he just learned how to disguise his true beliefs.

There were so many things we never knew that was out there. The moment he said he wanted to fundamentally change America was the day I shuddered to think what he meant and knew it would turn out badly. And we also know he will stop at nothing to win again.Scary.

The jury’s still out for me in terms of analyzing how Romney will handle himself as the campaign rhetoric heats up. So far, his m.o. seems to be genteel and respectful on the surface, but more than willing to allow “whatever it takes” behind the scenes while most of the dirty work is executed by surrogates.

Maybe he will surprise us and even himself when – unencumbered by Dems like he was when Governor of MA – he is able to move and stay more to the right than he ever could in MA. It will be interesting to see how he develops and executes strategies going forward — especially how he handles the conservative base of the party.

With respect to the list of Rules For Radicals, I am particularly struck by #10 and how Obama uses the bully pulpit to keep the pressure on as he spews his leftist propaganda with the help of the MSM broadcasting his every word on a daily basis. No modern president in recent history has had the audacity to be on television nearly every day lecturing us, insulting his opponents, blaming Republicans and lying on a regular basis. Americans are so naive (hopefully, at this point, I could say “were” so naive) that they were completely duped by his charming manner and most had no idea Alinsky tactics were being used on them as a tactic to achieve nefarious goals.

Let’s hope they have woken up.

I never cared much for any of the Bush clan. But he and Obama are nothing alike. GHW was seen as out of touch, but not really aloof. He actually tried to do too many things at once.

Obama is aloof and dispassionate, but also a total ideologue. He also is quite lazy and a total coward. A perfect example is not lifting a hand to help his side in the Recall election because he didn’t want to be attached to a losing cause. That is the opposite of leadership.

You actually just insulted President Carter. While an incompetent President on nearly all fronts, did honorably serve his country in the Navy, was a successful business person in rising from relative poverty to become a wealthy peanut farmer, was the first Deep South Governor to publicly declare the end of segregation and has done actual good work in the community through various charities (Habitat for Humanity being one). Barack Obama just measures up on the incompetent President on all fronts point.
