“My government is my worst enemy. I’m going to fight them with any means at hand.” Joe Vogler-Alaska Independence Party, “Keep up the good work,” Palin told AIP members. “And God bless you.”

Anyone who votes for this traitorous woman must hate America.

just like the guy we saw today in wisconsin...and he's probbly mad for the same reason i am....

not only just that this campaign seems to think "taking the high road" means never mentioning any actual factsabout his opponent....

not only because we are all victims of a stupid government experiment in social interference, by way of the "Community Reinvestment Act"...which the demos are successfully blaming on poor W.....

not only because all we seem to be focusing on here is the poor innocent victims of predatory loans...

but that guy...who will forever, apparently, be known as that guy...looked to be about my age...and like us is probably , at this time, actually eating his 401k...it is our income...it is what we live off of...after 30+ years of working for a living and paying our own bills.....

and now...our 401k is just...gone...

just....gone....

and...nobody seems to be upset about that...except us, of course...

the taxpayers will bail out the mortgages, except ours, cause ours was a good mortgage to worthy borrowers...

the taxpayers will bail out the banks and the mutual funds and whoever else..

but nobody is talking about all the retired people who have lost their entire life savings, who worked hard, saved..lol saved it is to laugh, now...paid their own bills and are now right up next to destitute, and will probably be destitute in the near future....

it is as we were told as children, which apparently it is illegal to tell children nowadays....."life is not fair, get used to it...."

nevertheless, i would kinda like somebody to notice what has happened to us older persons...even if they won't bother doing anything about it..

cause even if you won't notice it now, you will surely notice it when your streets are full of old people sleeping in doorways.....

McCain knows that voters want energy independence (which is why he keeps saying it) and Obama knows voters want it which is why he said he would like us to be energy independent in 10 yrs. But voters have heard this before and don't believe either of them.

When Reagan spoke about increasing defense spending he spoke SPECIFICS! He stated how many divisions, aircraft carriers, a 500 ship navy, etc.

McCain needs to specify HOW we become energy independent. X number of natural gas vehicles, X number of coal to gasoline refineries, X number of electric vehicles, etc. (Paid for or subsidized by the government if need be)

When oil fell to $106, OPEC cut production by 500,000 barrels a DAY! They Declared Economic WAR on us and we must respond. We may wish that we had more time to develop better, cheaper technology before we transition away from oil, but we do not.

We can only respond with what we have. Natural gas, coal, and electric vehicles may not be the perfect choices but Hydrogen, solar, wind, fuel cell are technologies that are not yet ready..maybe soon maybe not..but we can not wait because the damage to our economy of high energy prices is too severe.

McCain to hit harder, but he may not have it in him. So we have to vote anyway, as Rush said, pull him over the finish line.

Remember, Palin is on the ticket; if you can't vote McCain then vote for Palin. Because if this ticket looses in a landslide, Palin's political future will be in doubt. The media will spin it that the people didn't like her and that she was responsible.

Turn out, turn out, turn out!
