Perhaps I was wrong?

Along with only a sample size of 290, and thus not enough to be reliable, a recent poll suggested Gingrich’s support was evenly split between Romney and Santorum.  The Poll is at http://www.gallup.com/poll/153308/Romney-Santorum-Tie-Gingrich-Voters-Second-Choice.aspx?utm_source=alert&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=syndication&utm_content=morelink&utm_term=All%20Gallup%20Headlines%20-%20Politics

Otherwise we’d be trying to replace one liberal with another liberal.

has been reporting that they believe Gingrich support would be split between Romney and Santorum if Gingrich dropped out ever since the end of the florida primary.
Which leads me to conclude, that it is better if Newt stays in the race, because by staying in, he takes away some votes from Romney.
I am for ANYTHING that takes away votes from Mr Romneycare.
