Rep. Hank Johnson (D-GA) plays the race card on the House floor against Joe Wilson

Congressman Suggests People Will Don ‘White Hoods’ If Wilson Not Rebuked

In fact, Rep. Johnson not only publicly called Rep. Wilson a racism supporter, but also raised the specter of the KKK rising again if Rep. Wilson is not punished sacrificed as propitiation to the gods.

In an obvious reference to the Ku Klux Klan, Rep. Hank Johnson, D-Ga., said Tuesday that people will be putting on “white hoods and white uniforms again and riding through the countryside” if emerging racist attitudes, which he says were subtly supported by Wilson, are not rebuked. He said Wilson must be disciplined as an example.

.

I’m surprised he didn’t call for a treason trial for insulting the monarch.

So this is what is meant by “hope and change”? how is this not the fear-mongering that the Democrats have lobbed against all their opponents.

And for that matter, how is it not a violation of House rules to accuse one’s colleague of being a supporter of racism?

yet a blatant accusation of racism against another House member just flies on past.

    This is getting ridiculous.

This is the guy who replaced the illustrious Cynthia McKinney in representing GA-4…should we really be surprised by outlandish behavior coming out of that district? I thought they couldn’t do much worse than Ms. McKinney…maybe I was wrong.

The voters of suburban DeKalb County need to really think about their options next year.

I am sick and tired of this crap! I would love to know what these ignorant “apple sugar sugar” people would think of me if they knew how I felt about Obama. Oh, that’s right…I’m an “Uncle Tom” or suffering from Stockholm syndrome. I swear these people are sounding more and more like the boy who cried wolf.

Oh…and what Kayne West did to Taylor Swift wasn’t racist? Please…

That’s what they’d think of you. One of my co-bloggers and a best friend on my own blog is a black conservative. He has been called a race traitor a time or two.

There’s a libtard who comments once in awhile there and he has at the end of his comments: “Black in America… The Revolution has been televised.”

Be true to yourself, navychick, regardless of what anybody says. You have the right to decide for yourself and don’t let anybody tell you differently.

I remember hearing about Michael Steele having that done to him. What’s funny is that I use to get called an “Oreo Cookie” everytime I went around blacks that lived in the inner cities. It was just so crazy!

I just get really tired of this. People need to wake up and relaize that we are Americans first and foremost; skin color is irrelevant. Those that want to destroy the United States and all that she stands for don’t care what color you are…just that you are an American and need to be destroyed.

Anyway, I am always grateful for the Redstate family. I feel at home here. =)

that political affiliation is more a matter of heart and mind, not skin color… says the old biddy who is 1/4 or more native American. I wonder what they call me sometimes, too.

And they don’t even get it, and never will… We are so screwed…

  • Common_Cents

Race baiters leveling accusations at everyone who disagrees only serves to pimp out real racism in the name of cheap politics.

  • Achance

    in fall though.
