Nothing in it for Johnny Mac to debate JD, so why should he? JD’s not close and sinking in the polls from what I’ve read, so giving JD an opportunity to share the stage, why do it? Not like Johnny Mac don’t have a day job and when he’s back in AZ seems he’s talking to ordinary people with these town halls.

Maybe JD can have town halls too.

I didn’t lay out an entire strategy for bypassing the Minion Media or putting the brakes on the Dems’ coming bad legislation — the Republican “leaders” ought to be able to do that. But here are some further thoughts.

First, as to the Minion Media, the idea is to make the Minion Media’s bias, itself, the issue. Imagine if the Republican senators had a strategy to actually call to the attention of the American people the extreme leftist bias of ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN and MSNBC by craftily calling out the Minion Media on their bias. What if, for example, they just decided they wouldn’t go on MSNBC for starters because of its obvious bias and unfair treatment of conservative Republicans as compared to how they treat their fellow leftists in the Debtocrat Party. Create a firestorm about the issue: ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN and MSNBC are not objective, “fair and balanced” news reporting organizations but are, instead, heavily staffed by progressive leftist socialist Democrats that are very biased against Republicans generally and conservative Republicans specifically. Make THAT the issue to talk about. That is there is weakness; therefore, that is where we should attack.

The Debtocrat’s weakness is a full airing of their policies as set forth in their proposed legislation. A full airing can be achieved if the Republicans in “the world’s greatest deliberative body” would just do that — USE the Senate Standing Rules to their fullest to DELIBERATE and fully air the legislation they proposed.

You say you want more Republicans elected. Good. What are you doing about it? Are you a precinct committeeman? Are you involved in any Get Out The Vote efforts where you reside?
