All those scary puppets of foreign-controlled corporations, big oil companies, big banks, and those big insurance companies wanting to repeal provisions of “health reform,” because it will improve their bottom lines even if it is bad for the American people, were at this Americans for Prosperity event last Friday evening to learn about how to Get Out The Vote as part of AFP’s November Is Coming GOTV project. I know. I was there, too.

    I am a Veteran, I am an American is search of my own Prosperity. I have talents that an American business wants needs and desires. I am ashamed to lean on America because my previous employer was squeezed so tight, she had to let me go, regardless of the value that I brought. I am in the 9.6%
    Yet my potential future employer is running scared. Scared for the cost about to be incurred as an employer, or hirer of new employees. Scared for the mountains of paperwork that this administration is going to burden him with.
    I want a piece of the American prosperity to once again grow in MY pocket, not the IRS’s, only to be handed out to others. Were I a tradesman, I would remain unemployed so as not to feed the Union monster that owns 25 of Government Motors. Were an offer of employment be madefriom an AFSCME entity, NO, for they will soon be absorbed by SEIU or AFL-CIO. I choose to seek PRIVATE employement where my talent will enrich my employer who will then into be free to recognize and reward my contribution to his success.
    I am an American for Prosperity, and I have not contributed 1 cent to them for I will not abuse unemployement compensation, but AFP is my voice. In November, I will be heard!
