Launched: AM Action’s Precinct Project

http://concordproject.org/wp-content/uploads/2011/04/AMPrecinctProject1.jpeg

American Majority Action has just launched its Precinct Project web portal for all things related to what I refer to as “The Neighborhood Precinct Committeeman Strategy.” If you want to get involved where you live in party politics, and help make sure the maximum number of votes are cast for the candidates of your choice, the AMA’s Precinct Project site is a great place to start. And if you are already involved in party politics where you live, this site can provide you with tools and resources to help you share information that may be helpful to others.

Please go take a look if you are interested. See what is there for your state. Browse around. I think you will like what you will find there. AMA continues to build out the site and seeks volunteers to help with some of the state pages.

I’ve attended several American Majority grass roots activist training sessions. American Majority does excellent work. And American Majority Action has done excellent work with its Precinct Project site.

Thank you.

For Liberty,

ColdWarrior

Without Ron Robinson (of Procinct) and ColdWarrior this project wouldn’t have been born. Those of us at American Majority Action have been long-time believers in the effective nature of precinct based activism but Ron and ColdWarrior have been indispensable parts of the team that put this together. Their passion and drive made it possible!

A big thanks is due to Ron and ColdWarrior for their tireless work!

Longtime Redstaters will remember ColdWarrior’s tireless appeals on behalf of the Neighborhood Precinct Project, and many of us have been recruited to the cause by his hard work.

To have American Majority on board is vindication for him, to be sure, but even more it opens the way for a strong GOTV effort in 2012.

We must start with the primaries. With an incumbent president not likely to face a primary challenge, the left will use the opportunity to select for us the weakest, most beatable candidate they can. We must get Republican voters to the polls in order to defeat them.

I also posted the Precinct Project on my FB page as well as being locally active.

so I appreciate yoru response. Even if we could get old fashion campaign style buttons that we put on our bags to initiate conversation that would work for me too.

            Enjoy the weekend!

buttons stuck all over his shirt. Maybe he’ll stop by with the link. My memory isn’t working too well today.

to the folks at American Majority Action.

RHippie is referring to another project I had to raise awareness of the need for more conservatives to become precinct committeemen. I have been working with many of the tea party, 9.12 and other grass roots conservative groups here in the Phoenix area and came up with the idea for a button campaign. The idea is to come up with some very simple buttons, similar to the country code bumper stickers in Europe, that have two letter codes. PC = Precinct Committeeman, PW = Poll Watcher/Worker, CV = Campaign Volunteer, CD = Campaign Donor and DR = Doorbell Ringer. One of the grass roots conservative groups created some very nice ones and sold them for $3 a piece as a way to raise funds. The buttons also focus the grass roots conservatives on the fact that the “tea party movement” is starting to figure out that the mass rallies don’t do much politically — that the real ball game of politics is played inside the two major political parties, and if they want really do something politically, they’ve got to unite inside a political party — for all the reasons I’ve outlined in the past.

The buttons also allow anyone wearing them to point them out to the Democrat Media they might talk to, allowing them to mention that the “tea partiers” are more than just rally-goers — they are now moving into participation in party politics, campaign work, poll watching, etc.

Here’s the link to the Diary I posted about it:

            Thank you,

            ColdWarrior

ColdWarrior and others have been inspirational role models in leading many of us to the concept of the precinct committeeman and all of the ways it can benefit the cause of true conservativism.

And I absolutely agree. The left is going to try to wind us up with another McCain. From what I’m seeing, so will the Establishment Republicans. We have our work cut out for us, and the Precinct Committeeman project is our best hope to fight this war on two fronts.
