In case this news has not yet been regurgitated here: Perry/Trump

What does it all mean? I do not know. But, in light of the earlier visit Mr. Trump had with Ms. Palin, it seems at least interesting.

Thank you.

Found it interesting. Perry is doing what he needs to sew up every point he can get and then some.

What’s awesome to see is that with Perry being “late to the party” after everyone else had jumped in, Perry is still able to gather endorsements and meetings with the movers and shakers in our country.

To me that is a mark of a leader that can get people behind him to go in the same direction.

He also spoke in front of 13,000 students on Wednesday. Details here:

I couldn’t get a video from CNN to come up which is a bummer.

Good Lord when will the silly speculative season stop. Just because Perry met with Trump in NY, now we are supposed to be speculating a Perry/Trump pres/vp ticket?

I would be so completely flabbergasted if Perry ever chose Trump as a VP choice, it would make me speechless. Trump has spoken positively about Perry in the past, and he obviously likes him and his job creating, and economy building abilities for the state of Texas. That doesn’t mean that Perry visiting with him means squat. Obviously Trump can help Perry with some high dollar fundraisers in NY, but, there have been other high profile people that Perry has met with for fundraising efforts.

I believe we can remove the possibility of Perry considering Trump as a possible VP candidate, as the only thing I am aware of that Perry has said, is that whoever his choice would be will have to be pro-life. That removes Trump from any consideration, as Trump may say he is pro-life, but he has supported more pro-choice Democrats with donations in the past than pro-life Republicans.

Are we that desperate to find silly things to talk about, as the country burns?
