Everything, really.

No, there isn't another sign with the second half of the statement right behind them. Zombietime checked.

I'd post more commentary, but really: what can I say that these... people... haven't already shouted to the rooftops with their every action?

You'd think in a crowd that size that someone would notice the typo.

Fighting for conservatism one day at a time.

No, they spelled it right by RobertSchmitt

I found it in the dictionary:

to-man-y [ta-men-ee] verb, adjective

-verb
1. To show one's backside to one's enemies
2. To run away, cowardice: [Large wooden rabbit flying through air] TOMANY! TOMANY! (see Monty Python and the Holy Grail)

-adjective
A number thought excessive but ultimately beneficial
Wow, babe. You had TOMANY shots of tequila last night, but I'm glad you slept at my place!

Maybe the sign is a reference to their years spent in the public school system.

Maybe the sign is a reference to their years spent in the public school system.

All the evidence indicates an inverse relation.

I would not be at all surprised if these good folks had swallowed every morsel of slop the system had to offer.

Then again by CincoSolas del Bronx

factoring in reading comprehension on my part, you are indeed Right Again.

I thought you were referring to the presence of the typo, not the message.

Just asking I have a hard day of dragging my knuckles ahead of me.

It must mean... by youngling

that in 5 years we will have many of them...so, given the context, we have not been Iraq for many years yet and thus there is no reason to leave for at least 5 more years...right?

In the interests of charitable interpretation, I think the slogan means, "It's been five years on the calendar, but since reality exists only as we perceive it and we want to be inclusive of our numerous moonbat brethren too drug-addled, mentally defective, or outright insane to mark the passage of time conventionally, it's been five years to some [of us]."

There's nothing more pathetic than an unhinged, aging hippie at an anti-war/anti-oil protest.

Clearly the protestors are complaining that there's been no sequel to Sean O'Meara and the Ring of Murdrun. Five years, Leonard W. Tomany.

Five years.

Apparently, some folks can count the time we've been in Iraq and with the benefit of "new math" add up to something other than "5 years." They were simply stating that in their math it is still 5 years to many of the folks that were there! Of course this isn't a declarative statement, just an opinion on their part.

As in, we're going from the 5 years we've already been there to many more years. They appear to be supporters of that agenda.
