I doubt that'll stick, but I wouldn't be surprised to see him get, say, 10% of Hillary supporters. Let's assume that D's are half the country. Then lets say half the D's are Hillary supporters. That leaves you with 10% of 1/4th of the electorate. 2.5% - Obama + McCain sounds pretty good to me.

It might not be 28% of dems, but we don't need that many. We probably only need 10% to win. And if we are smart we should be able to pull 60% of the Jewish vote when going against Obama and his disgraceful "advisors and mentors"

I mean this as no disrespect to you, Brandozilla. You're hardly the only one exhibiting giddyness over the Democrast' foibles. And I'm not saying that a conservative ought not take some pleasure from troubles on the other side.

But, it's a rather pathetic reflection on the state of our movement, isn't it? That the best we can seem to do is laugh while our political and ideological opponents tear into each other?

There's a reason they're fighting so hard for that nomination -- it's probably a better nomination to have this year than the one John McCain will be getting. I guess there's something to be said for misery loving company.

But I just wish that we'd do a better job discussing why we are where we are and what we need to do get back to winning elections on the foundation of good ideas.
