Please help me fight the Paul fanatics by donating to help me go to the Convention

My name is Heather Johnson and I am a delegate to the 4th Congressional District in North Carolina. I will be nominated to be a delegate to the National GOP Convention. Unfortunately, I am up against many Ron Paul followers who are well funded and I cannot commit to go if I cannot raise the funds. I am a mother and bookkeeper and hard working "on the ground" Republican. I am sending out a plea to you good RedStaters to help me raise the $2000 it will require for me to attend the Convention. You may notice that my screenname reveals that I am a Mitt fan and have a blog for his support. But I have also pledged on my blog my support for McCain as a our GOP nominee. I am trying to do my part in stopping these Ron Paul fans from overtaking the convention with their agenda nonsense and just get McCain officially nominated.

[UPDATE] Heather is a friend of mine and I want to vouch for her and her commitment to the Party - Adam C
[UPDATE] I'm adding in a donate button to protect Heather's email address - absentee
Unfortunately, my funds are already down to single digits until the end of the month, but I beg on Heather's behalf - please help her get to the convention! She's not kidding about their plans to "take over" the convention; they want to subvert the will of the people because their style is "by any means necessary." They're desperate and looking for ways to disrupt the entire process.
I'll vouch for Heather 100% as well.

While her intentions were noble, she did not win a delegate seat today.
But it's the internet. Everybody is honest, right?
is not a delegate to the convention?

I've emailed to ask how it went. She was trying to decide whether she could afford to run. I haven't talked with her since she put up the diary.

We had a great resolution to this meeting and the outcome was that NO Ron Paul fans were elected to be delegates and my appointment was not need after all!! WAHOOO!!! Of course the Ron Paul folks were all having fits and demanded count after count and secret ballot after open ballot, but all in all, it was a successful Congressional Convention.
The 4th District in NC is safe from Ron Paul folks at Nationals. I never accepted the donations, and will figure out how to NOT accept them. THANK YOU ALL (and my dear friends Beth and Adam)for your support of our District!
Heather Johnson
you can take mine and donate it to NC GOP seriously...I just think that would be so much easier and they have earned it!

One district down, X more to go keeping the Paultards out. Argh.
Their plan is to get to the convention and take advantage of obscure rules, abstaining from the votes until there has to be a floor fight. They don't care about the fact that people have voted and the majority have chosen John McCain; it's "too important" (their words) to have RP as the nominee to allow the will of the people. I hate their guts.
Heather, maybe you should put an update in the post to let people know how it worked out. Yay!
