Terrorist Obama endorsers claim that "Jewish leaders planned the Holocaust to kill their disabled and handicapped"
Hey, at least they're admitting it happened at all, yes?

Jewish leaders "planned the Holocaust to kill disabled and handicapped" Jews to avoid having to care for them, "says Hamas state television (yes, Condi, I'm sure they're just great people who want the same things we do -- and yes, Jimmy, I'm sure that this is the result of apartheid).
Last week, with the April 27 Holocaust Remembrance Day approaching, those lovers of peace (and of Barack Obama) who just want to be left alone by the murderously avaricious Jews to their north and west let fly their latest statement on that pesky little Holocaust that may or may not have taken place 60 years ago (hey, that's a lot of time, and facts get fuzzy after far less has passed -- besides, Bill Ayers hasn't tried to kill anybody in almost 40 years; after 50% longer time has gone by, shouldn't we be shutting up about that Holocaust thing and allowing that Hitler guy to be re-introduced into the cast of what Obama refers to as "respectable fixtures in mainstream liberal Chicago").
Aaaaaanywho, the Hamas State TV program, broadcast last week, called the Holocaust a "Zionist plot" with two goals:
- To eliminate "disabled and handicapped" Jews by sending them to death camps, so they would not be a burden on the future state of Israel.
- To make "the Jews seem persecuted" so they could "benefit from international sympathy."
Video of the Hamas TV segment is below the fold. Read on.
Especially note this statement in the video from Amin Dabur, head of the Palestinian Center for Strategic Research:
"About the Israeli Holocaust, the whole thing was a joke and part of the perfect show that Ben Gurion put on, who focused on strong and energetic youth [for Israel], while the rest- the disabled, the handicapped, and people with special needs, they were sent to [to die]- if it can be proven historically. They were sent [to die] so there would be a holocaust, so Israel could "play" it for world sympathy."
This is followed up by the narrator saying, "The alleged numbers of Jews [killed in the Holocaust] were merely for propaganda."
And they had been doing so well with the whole acknowledging-that-it-happened thing...
Anyway, I trust that Obama will be out in front of a microphone at some point in the very near future repudiating the heck out of this endorser of his candidacy for President. After all, if his folks want to try to tie John McCain to the extreme Rev. Hagee for the latter's unilateral decision to endorse the Republican presidential candidate, then they wouldn't want to seem hypocritical by letting an actual terrorist group that has done the same for Obama simply go unrebuked, would they?

I know that. Believe me, I've seen tons of that stuff.
I still manage to be surprised every now and then, however. This is one of them. Arguing the Holocaust didn't happen, dumb as it is, is one thing. But arguing they did it to get rid of their disabled people is actually even worse. I mean, who could believe such a thing? Even if they wanted that, why in God's name would they start a war over it? Why not just kill them themselves?

Yah, I know the reason they'd give. I guess every now and then I expect them to at least have SOME foundation for their beliefs that didn't resort to a blatantly laughable conspiracy theory, and this one is far worse then garden variety holocaust denial.

I don't think that word means what you think it means.
Oh, and perhaps you were under a rock when they endorsed Obama (try clicking the link above), just like Iran has, just like Bill Ayers has, just like...etc., etc., etc. Obama's got some characteristics these anti-American, pro-terrorist types like an awful lot...
I agree he is very weak on national security and that we need to be vigilant about what these horrible terrorists do to try to revise history about the Holocaust. Saying Hamas supports him is fair, but to associate him w/ their broadcast, when he doesn't accept their support isn't fair.
I simply pointed out two facts:
(1) Hamas has endorsed Barry Obama for Prez
(2) Hamas state television is accusing the Jews of plotting their own holocaust.
I also made a brief third point: Obama says that 40 years after terrorism is plenty of time for Ayers to become a respected figure in Chicago liberal circles -- and it's been 60 since the Holocaust.
What's to argue with? The rest of that is your own unease, methinks.
him to accept Ayers friendship, or were you paraphrasing? Because that would be enough to tag him with not taking terrorism seriously. But besides that, the title of your piece implied that the terrorists were closely associated with him. He can't stop them from supporting him, and it is best to just ignore terrorists' statements.
I have enjoyed some of your other pieces and it is important to hear about this. I just wanted to give constructive criticism that the way you presented this piece went too far.
PS I'm not uneasy about this topic. I buy my kids Holocaust books all the time because I want them to know how horrible it was, and so they will be motivated to be part of making sure it never happens again.
....link in the Ayers portion above.
It eventually gets to Obama's web site where there is no reference to 40 years being some sort of statute of limitations on terrorist activity.
Additionally, the quote about 'respectable fixtures in mainstream liberal Chicago' is not actually from Obama, but rather from Andrew Cockburn (Las Vegas Review Journal, 3/2/08) in an op-ed he wrote about the democratic primary.
There are plenty of valid arguments to levy at Obama, but using arguments like this just hurts your credibility.
...at the ABC Debate (you know, the one you're still chafing over) that what Ayers did was 40 years ago, and should therefore have no bearing on whether or not he (BO) should be associating with him or not.
Thanks for the words about my "credibility," though. I know you're very concerned.
My point was that the link you pointed to did not contain the information that you attributed to it...
The link that you gave was not to a quote about terrorism not mattering 40 years after the fact...you were probably looking for this link: http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/DemocraticDebate/Story?id=4670271&page=2
Here Obama said, 'the notion that somehow as a consequence of me knowing somebody who engaged in detestable acts 40 years ago, when I was 8 years old, somehow reflects on me and my values doesn't make much sense'. I think it's perfectly fair to debate Obama on this point since he did interact with Ayers with the knowledge of his 'detestable acts'.
Additionally, attributing the quote about 'respectable Chicagoans' to Obama was also misleading because this was actually someone else's quote and Obama's campaign merely repeated it on their website. I think you'll agree that it is important to consider the context of a quote before applying attribution. After all, RedState now has text on its website that says that Ayers is a 'respectable fixtures in mainstream liberal Chicago', but clearly you would not want that quote attributed to you or RedState.
The question that you should be asking is WHY would a terrorist group chose to endorse BO.

It is you who is making an association between Obama and holocaust deniers and terrorists
I'm the one who dreamed up, and faked, the Hamas endorsement of Obama.
I'm the one who dreamed up, and faked, the Ayers alliance (as well as Obama's defenses that (a) it was 40 yrs ago that Ayers tried to kill people, and (b) he's a fixture in respected Chicago liberal circles now).
I'm the one who dreamed up, and faked, the Iran (holocaust-deniers, yes?) endorsement of Obama.
I'm the one who dreamed up, and faked, Obama's 20-year attendance at, and tens-of-thousands of dollars in donations to, Rev. Wright's church -- and that Wright is a supporter of the "anti-Zionist" Louis Farrakhan, even using his goons as bodyguards for his hate-filled rants.
I'm the one who did all that, and so much more -- you figured it out.
Pejman will be so disappointed that you did so, by the way. As the sole Jew on the RedState editorial staff, he unfailingly demands to be held responsible for all such conspiracies -- and this is such a big one, he will hate to have missed out on the blame for it.

it's that terrorists support Obama. The idea is to get people to start asking why they would do that.
reason: simply put, Obama is more likely to either back away, or give in to their demands than either McCain or even Hillary.

To avoid making political decisions based on the likes/dislikes of terrorists.
Anyone possessing a mostly-functional brain can see how ridiculous Hamas' comments on the Holocaust are, and ultimately detrimental to their cause.
However, such hatred as Hamas' toward Israel is perfectly understandable. The State of Israel is living proof that the cycle of oppression has come full-circle since the creation of Israel by the Allies after World War II. Once Israel was established, the occupiers of Palestine have relentlessly persecuted the Palestinian people, and have proved themselves to be among the worst countries in the world with whom to share a border. As a result of forced apartheid, the West Bank and Gaza Strip have ironically come to resemble the ghettos of Europe pre-WWII, if not worse. In some settlements in the West Bank, especially those nearest the Wall, raw sewage runs over open ground among Palestinian homes—piped out of Israeli settlements on the other side of the Wall using plumbing installed specifically for that purpose. Palestinians in need of medical care (which exists almost exclusively on the Israeli side) must drive through a number of checkpoints, where at any point they might be told to turn back--bad news in a medical emergency. Many pregnant women have given birth in the backseats of cars or alongside the road, unable to make it to a hospital. Most recently, the residents of the Gaza Strip became the victims of an Israeli-imposed blockade of their settlement. When people began running out of food and were in danger of starving, Hamas (or so they claimed) dynamited sections of the border wall with Egypt so that people could enter and buy needed provisions. When the Egyptian government was asked what it was doing to control the situation, they replied that the people would be allowed to cross, because they are starving, and so long as they are not armed. They could buy provisions, then return to Gaza.
Imagine being a second-class citizen in the same land you were born. The Palestinians had nothing to do with the Holocaust...they weren't aiding the Nazis in any way...but they continue to suffer for it. Now, while there isn't a doubt in my mind that the Holocaust did in fact occur, the reality is that at no time in written history has genocide not been occurring somewhere in the world. Granted, the Holocaust was on a larger scale and took place over a shorter amount of time than most, however, that doesn't change the fact that it was one of many horrors that human beings have perpetrated against one another throughout our collective history. If you remember, the United States itself undertook the systemic genocide of the indigenous population of North America as a function of so-called 'manifest destiny'.
Nonetheless, it is the opinion of many Palestinians and others that world empathy toward the Jews due to the Holocaust must have a limit, as it has been exploited over and over again by the greedy and unscrupulous. Many Palestinians, especially, see the Holocaust as the principle catalyst of their own oppression by Israel. Hamas, in making the video in question, is attempting to discredit the Holocaust as a legitimate event, and in turn cast suspicion as to Israel's right to exist. But desperation has made a fool of many, in this time, it's Hamas' turn. The ridiculousness of the claims put forth in the video serve only to reiterate Hamas' anger and bitterness, and the anger it was no doubt intended to arouse has obviously come back to haunt them...
Oh yeah...and what does this have to do with Obama, again?

-Thomas Paine: The American Crisis, No. 4, 1777
The Palestinian people have had many years to establish a government that will promote the common good and advancement of their state. To date they have absolute poverty, cities in a state of ruin and their society monopolized by radicals intent on genocide.
The schools teach hatred; the government actively supports terrorist acts against innocent people; the citizenry have been duped to believe that dying for their cause is the pinnacle of human achievement. These are not the ideals of a society willing to co-exist with others.
Unless Israel develops an understanding that the Palestinians want only their destruction that will eventfully happen. And that is why the Holocaust is an important historical event that must not be discounted.
So if the Palestinians are upset over this then perhaps a little introspection is in order.

Two questions to consider about the Israeli conflict...
1. What would happen if the Palestinians stopped fighting?
They could use the aid they get from Israel and the rest of the world and build a good country, gradually work out disagreements with Israel and have a good life for themselves and their grandchildren. Hey, they could for sure be as prosperous as the Palestinians still living inside Israel.
2. What would happen if the Israelis stopped fighting?
They would be wiped out!!
You are a fool, but for the benefit of some readers who may not be aware of the fundamental biases in your anti-Jew account here, I will make a reply of sorts.
Look, anyone who claims to be making any sort of even-handed account of what's going on in the West Bank and Gaza territories, must not skip from 1945 to the present.
How about including the multiple times that Israel, your pet scapegoat (just as the Jews are picked on in the Koran), was simultaneously attacked by all its neighbors. What kind of pathetic apologist are you for the would-be genocidal aggressors of the Middle-east, that you would dare come here and call Israel the bad neighbor after those unprovoked, premeditated, unjustifiable acts of raw, hateful aggression?
Yes, Israel controls that territory now, but only after the Israelis were forced into battle to protect the existance of their own country, and yes even for the lives of themselves and their countrymen in the face of savage murderers, and won that territory with dear blood and treasure.
They hold that territory because they have every reason to believe that were they to turn that territory into an independent state, barring any new events, that the new country would be as sworn to destroy them as most of the other states in the region. And sure enough, the two political groups elected in the territories are Fatah and Hamas, groups dedicated to genocide against Jews.
Why are there people still living there though? Normally when there's war, people are able to flee to other countries if they fear poor conditions. Israel was perfectly willing to let those people go, too, but they were blocked by the very same neighbors that attempted to murder every single Jew in Israel. The so-called Palestinians are nothing but the pawns of Jew-haters, having been prevented from getting out of the buffer-zone (which is what the territories really are) in order to generate propaganda.
And you, sir, just fell for and parroted the propaganda of those genocide artists. Well done.

People left for three reasons:
1. Sold land for fair price
2. Arab governments told them to leave
3. They were forced out.
The last one makes up a small amount; however, that doesn't mean it didn't happen. It was usually the older generations that had ties to the land (kind of like a Grapes of Wrath complex). Interestingly, Israel is facing a similar problem today with Jewish settlers in the western bank.

following the capture of Lydda and Ramle, the cities' Palestinian residents were forced out of their homes. Many others "voluntarily" left after threats of violence from the Haganah. Others left for what they thought would be a temporary absence until the war was over, but they were never allowed to go home ("right of return"). Many never left what is now Israel and became "internal" refugees. Absentee property laws (originally "emergency" then made permanent) gave Israeli authorities the right to seize these "abandoned" lands which was then used for the large incoming Jewish immigrant population.
This is pretty basic history on the establishment of the state of Israel, so you might want to let up on the ad hominem attacks.
I think I can anticipate how the readers on here feel about the United Nations, but if you read the UN General Assembly Progress Report (Chapter III, titled "the refugee problem")from 1950 it gives you a sense of the stances of the players at the time.
