Regarding racist language used in the Democratic Primary.

Which is, by the way, completely uncalled for.

It has come to our attention that there is a video being passed along that purports to be of a Clinton staffer using racist language. See Ben Smith for further details, including claims that it's all bogus anyway (I don't have a link to whichever site's leading the charge that it's not; if you have one, leave it in comments).

Whether or not the specific attack is false or true, one thing is clear: somebody in the Democratic Party's primary process seems to be intimately involved in the act of race-baiting. They should stop doing that.

Now.

be serious, Moe by streiff

the only reason we even note this is because it involves two Dems race-baiting each other. Neither Jackson's nor Sharpton's campaigns lasted long enough or was serious enough to require this old stand-by (qualifying for matching federal funds was the apparent objective of both those campaigns after which time they stopped really caring about running for office).

We can all recall the NAACP "James Byrd" ad and any number of other examples.

This is simply a dash of salt on the popcorn.

Surely you wouldn't begrudge me a dash or two for rubbing into wounds. :)

I've enjoyed nothing as much as this Battle of the Victims primary since my wife and I had our last theme night (Stranded American Paratrooper Meets French Farm Girl).

You win.

This has been going on all year and is a preview of the race-baiting that McCain and Republicans will be subjected to if Obama wins the Democratic nomination. While it seems to have worked in getting Democrats to be outraged against Hillary Clinton, I think the this will end up backfiring against Obama in the General Election. The wider electorate will see it for the bullshit that it is.

huge issue by Pentagon16

I am surprised this is not getting a LOT more attention on RedState. This is actually a huge issue across the entire blogosphere, mainstream media and especially in local media in Indiana.

We could have an Obama supporter dubbing a video trying to portray a senior Democrat as a vicious racist and elitist. So Kantor can join Lieberman and Gerry Ferraro as some other leaders of the democratic party slandered and villified by the left. To me that is something the American people should know about..

"Small town folks get bitter after which they cling to guns or religion, or antipathy to people who aren't like them, or anti-immigrant sentiment, or anti-trade sentiment."

got to say by streiff

I don't really care if this video is real or doctored (IMO, Kantor does call the people if Indiana "s***") I just want to see them fight over it.

Democratic racism? by Matthew Weaver

The real racism is used almost exclusively by the Obama Cult. It is incredible that nearly every criticism of their Dear Leader is laced with derogatory and offensive accusations and rants. Racism is their first defense. By comparison, rarely can you find a Clinton supporter devolving into a racist rant.

Why should it surprise anyone that a Democrat makes a racist statement? Have they rewritten history so that blacks really believe Democrats have their best interest at heart? Has America forgotten that Lincoln and Martin Luther King were Republicans? Have they forgotten the Republicans were the ones that freed the slaves and fought for their right to own property and vote? Blacks could get out of poverty if the Dems wouldn't have gotten them hooked on entitlements. Read "Why Martin Luther King Was a Republican." http://tinyurl.com/oz6ul

The GOP would be smart to get this information out before Nov. You can't count on the "union" inner city "teachers" to teach the truth; because unions vote Democrat. If the truth gets out and McCain chooses a VP that will help reach out to black voters; the Democrat Party could lose its "base."
