RICK PERRY’S INTERNET STRIKE FORCE: OMG…this is sooooo awesome..lyric of new song for Perry by
Rebecca Winterowd, coming soon in your nearest Y-Tube
?”Perry Woman” (to the tune of “Redneck Woman” by Grethchen Wilson)
      Lyrics by Dan Winterowd

Well I ain’t never been the ‘Obama Girl’ type
No I can’t stand pay for play, I rather shoot straight and right!
… In Austin, there’s a cowboy, Rick Perry is his name
He’s got friends in his camp like Forbes, Gatlin and Strait!
Some people look down on him, but he don’t give a rip
He’ll stand tall in his boots and shoot straight from the hip!

      Chorus
’cause I’m a Perry woman- I ain’t no far left broad
I’m just a product of my raisen’- I say ‘hey y’all’ and ‘yee-haw’
Real men are my passion and they have been all along
And I know all the words to every Ted Nugent song!
So here’s to President Perry, a real Tea Party Dream
Let me get a big ‘hell yeah’ from the Perry Girls like me- hell yeah!

Solyndra secrets, well that stuffs not right
We need a man with a real jobs plan- get us back workin’ overnight!
And still cut spendin’, balance budgets and a tax cut for all you see
Send Congress home, have’em work part time- They’ll answer to you and me!
Well you might think he’s handsome, gun totin’ and hardcore
But in my neck of the woods he’s just the man next door!

      (Repeat Chorus)

outside of a few formatting problems- it must have taken you forever to put that together.

That is Perry’s entire package it seems, which is so lost in this day and age of stupid debate formats, soundbites, and gotcha! moments.

Thank you for the quick reference material.
And thank you to Asians Girl linking to this diary from the HA website.

If Perry detractors would actually spend a couple of minutes and read the truth and honestly consider the man’s record and accomplishments I think he would him them over. For whatever reason they stubbornly refuse to see the truth. Imagaine what a surge that would be. A crest that would carry him to the whitehouse and America out of it malaise. A strong America is what we all want. That’s should be the goal of this election. I see so many people who claim they are simply anyone but Obama. Well I guess there’s a little logic to that considering his efforts and record. However in our history we have never faced such a daunting situation as we face now. Democrats have finally lost their minds and turned unapologetically socialist. Iran openly defies us to the point of threatening not only our ships but our right even to use certain water ways in the international media no less. We have amassed $15,000,000,000,000.00 plus dollars of debt and our government can’t even find the courage to cut a single program’s budget except our military of course. Considering maintaining the military is one of its constitutionally obligated roles I think is a quite an indictment of our government in itself. This is not the time to be timid and “safe”. American voters throughout our history have never supported the timid and safe candidates. We can’t afford to tinker and play around the edges. Voting for someone who is marginally better than Obama doesn’t save us, we have no time to play within the margins. We need action now. Like it or not Obama has been effective at achieving his goals and since we started in the hole to begin with. We are going to need someone who is twice as effective at turning us around. This is not a time for giving failed governors like Mitt Romney a chance at redemption. This is no time for legislator’s like Gingrich and Santorum to learn on the job. We need a bold conservative executive with a proven trackrecord of success. We need Rick Perry.

Bravo, bravissimo!!! Guys and gals, I’ve been watching constitutional’s progress on Twitter; he was giving me updates on the word count throughout the day and I grew more and more impressed as it reached 7,000 words. A lot of work and love have been put into this one. As soon as I’m not on mobile I’m recommending it. Every RS member, whether pro-Perry or not, needs to read this AND the transcript from Rush’s show yesterday. If you’re going to oppose Rick Perry, you’d better make sure you’re not just rehashing liberal Alinsky tactics and arguments.

This is unbelievable, constitutional. I love how you didn’t hesitate to include whole speeches and ads, and the visuals are great. (I love the picture with the puppy; someone told me that he live-tweeted the puppies’ birth!)

I sincerely hope this diary gets to the top of the Recommended Diaries list. Keep up the good work and never, never give up.

  • lizzie

the one Youtube I had not already seen. I knew he played, but not that well.

    Great anthology on Rick Perry!

I would only add the Youtube on what Perry does to relax – sniper target shooting at LaRue Tactical.

and that photo with Rory as a puppy is Perry’s Twitter photo. Never underestimate the dog-lovers of America.

Hope you get that last formatting problem fixed.

  • romansdaughter

You did a great job! I wish there was some way to get your diary out to every news outlet. Thanks for the post!

Beethoven, which is his favorite to play (if I remember correctly Perry saying in his Parade Magazine interview).

lizzie, I reviewed my saved emails from Perry camp and a Deirdre Delisi, director of policy/strategy – campaign@rickperry.org might be a start. I also have a Jordan Root, online grassroots, at same email as Delisi. Anyhow, thanks for all your input, I enjoy reading very much and last by not least, I am sending health wishes your way.

mostly I wish someone would comment that the Barnstead, New Hampshire home in the photo with the Perry for President sign is being criticized for looking like it is “condemned”.

I can assure evryone that home is actually typical for rural New England, especially since the freak Tropical Storm Irene, and pre-Halloween blizzard. We who have clapboard homes find out that the paint weathers poorly, and we have had two summers in a row where it has been near impossible to paint the exteriors that look like this.

We had roads washed away, trees down everywhere, roofers in short supply – even my neighbor who does my tree work disappeared all last summer because of the micro-burst tornadoes to the east that blew away a few towns. I was lucky that only my street sugar maples got damaged after Irene, and the village did a great job of pruning and removing the damage.

Texasroots: thanks again – I sent all of my comments from Governor Perry’s post in a return email camapign@rickperry.org that was the reply to his In the News email that had his RedState link. I am sure someone read that comment thread, and my “duplicate” email.

yes, Beethoven is his favorite composer – you remember accurately from the Parade interview. He also had a short video one on one with Christine Amanpour of ABC (little noticed web post), and she asked him his favorite music. When he said Beethoven, you should have seen her mentally and visibly change her opinion of Rick Perry to ‘huh! wow! more to this man than the stereotype!’

Perry also said his favorite movie is “Immortal Beloved”, a romantic biopic of Beethoven. Well, I am a huge film buff, but I could not watch the whole thing. Guess you really have to love Beethoven to love that film :)
Secretly, I bet his favorite film is Gary Cooper as “Sergeant York”

ABC News online The Note has a post of Perry shooting at Red’s Range on Friday – fascinating comment thread – but we also know Perry relaxes with sniper target shooting to get that five bullets in one hole, which is exactly what the younger Alvin York did to win enough money to buy his bit of bottomland so he could marry his sweetheart. at least in the Gary Cooper movie.

signing off – until maybe Sunday. have to wash windows. too late to fix all my exterior paint damage from the bizarre storms we had.

“No excuses. It is what it is. Never Quit.”

I wish I could do facebook, but I am ornery about that “Social Network”

Mitt Romney Ron Paul Rick Santorum are weak in their faith. The mormon bible is not biblical, many catholic beliefs are not biblical, doubting that the gay lifestyle is sinful is not biblical, not supporting Israel is not biblical. This country was founded on Christian values.God’s word should not be rejected ignored or belittled. Many people don’t want Governor Perry because he gave in-state tuiton to kids that were brought here illegally. It’s biblical to treat others the way you would want to be treated. Luke 10:16 He who listens to you listens to me;he who rejects you rejects me ;but he who rejects me rejects him who sent me.I don’t reject Rick Perry because he does not reject God’s word.

We pray that Governor Perry will be our President. He is being blackballed by the far left media, including Fox News, Congress & the liberals to include Obama. It will take a large grassroots effort to stop them from cramming Romney down our throats. Governor Perry will need lots of prayers, physical help and lots & lots of money. If each of us will give something. If you don’t have but a little then commit to giving a little, if you have a lot then by all means give as much as you can. Grassroots American

  • Hooah_Mac

This plus the Commander in Chief stuff I posted is why I’m backing Governor Perry. I am not concerned with so-called “electability” or poll numbers. I am backing the best guy for the job. Electability comes when someone can make a solid argument for their cause. Others MAY be better arguers, but their arguments have no substance. Rick Perry is the one we want. I just hope we get him.

because just try finding out anything about Paint Creek Productions in Alexandria, VA, which was the company that did ad placement for Perry in Iowa. a different firm made the actual buy – not unusual for two different companies to plan the placement and make the buy, but each one gets their % cut.

and, Politico just had to mention that the money is running out.

and I finally got an email back from the Perry campaign that they need to keep that $250,000 for South Carolina as the intro page for RickPerry.org

seems :”No Excuses.” only applies to Rick Perry, not his campaign.

I had just checked the final Iowa caucus vote tally by county – and they show every candidates placement and % and vote total.

Rick Perry did very well in a lot of counties. Too bad there is no way to correlate his campiagn stops and/or ad buys with the counties where he placed 1st, 2nd, or 3rd.

Goodbye RedState, for the week. I have to stay offline. maybe catch up before South Carolina.

I don’t want to be smart.” Not to worry. I don’t think there’s any danger of that happening.

    • constitutional

  • hls87

of the argument that Perry is a superb constitutional conservative. Sadly, it’s looking as if there aren’t many Republican voters looking for a constitutional conservative. If Romney, Santorum and Gingrich look like suitable candidates to most Republicans, there is little hope that the GOP will nominate someone who actually wants to diminish the federal government. For a brief shining moment in 2010 it looked as if we were about to turn a corner and restore healthy limits on the scope of the federal government. The opportunity is going by the boards and very few people are even noticing.

  • Tman8

and I think it was outstanding. I wish every Republican primary voter would read this before casting their vote. We need to get the undecided conservatives to break for Rick Perry. I am talking to folks everyday here in South Carolina who are voting for Perry. Lots of folks who knew him already as the conservative governor of Texas support him because he comes the closest to being “one of us” in South Carolina in terms of values, persona, and issues. But I think that the fact that everything has been focused on Mitt and Newt and Santorum more so than Perry recently is an obstacle to overcome. I believe the Perry campaign is going to work hard over the next two weeks to overcome that in South Carolina.

  • constitutional

Formatting should be fixed. After writing this for two days straight I got kind lazy last night.

    Sorry about that, y’all!

  • constitutional

As I said in my comment, I got kind of lazy before I published it last night.

  • Scope

your wonderful diary has been picked and and linked to at another very pro-Perry website. Yohoo, it’s making the rounds.

I love a tweet that was listed there concerning Romney.

“Vulture capitalist” is a play on venture capitalist. Better term for Bain is Locust capitalist. Vultures wait till your dead first.”

Romney, the Locust capitalist, that sucks the blood of life out of companies, closes them down, and then has the federal government bail out the pensions, after he pockets millions in profits first.

  • bhuggins

Thanks for hope that I receive here at RS. I really believe Perry is God’s man for this time!
