UAW and Ford what a joke.UAW balking at giving Ford the same deal as the other two they bankrupt, and the UAW has a problem with doing that. Buying union made just puts money in Democratic coffers.

Any body know any place that is making book on who will be the next group the Democrats will be demonizing? Is there a pool anywhere? Who don’t the unions like? Got doctors,pharma,hospials,insurance companies. Any body any where that is in an executive position,energy industry. Who will they next demonize? I’m backing small to medium size business.  Lean on them and set them up for the SEIU is my vote.

It is so darned simple yet nobody seems to twig. The traditional employment model is not there. More and more people are becoming self supplied(we eat what we kill so to speak) We generate our own income rather than have an employer. Every study suggests our ranks will grow either out of choice or circumstance. An employment based health system is seeking a solution in the rear view mirror. Only wide open competition will be able to cause the adjustments required to supply an Independantly employed force with no homogenity. This suggests a real change of thinking. Going full market to allow new models.  I personally favor niche market insurers with an active financial market that would allow the underwriter to lay off a good portion of their risk to speculators to keep premiums down on a wide array of choices for the consumer. But this is just me others might and should have other ideas.

Since the majority of workers elect not to be in a union why do we allow unions so much power? It is out of all proportion.

Self Based Supply or independant income based on what we do and know as individuals.  Bands of ones.. The non group that is going to be increaseing in size as the economy adjusts and more people either by choice or circumstance enter into the self employeed.  The ones that buy health care with after tax dollars. I know about the structures that exist to form legal entities for the activity, but whose going to do that starting off on an internet idea or cutting friends’ hair?

Cash for Clunkers- saw where Chrsler claims cash for clunkers is causing them to add shifts. The lucky plants produce Dodge Ram,Town & Country, and a Jeep. Save for the Town &Country(the plant also produces the VW Toureg). Question is what were traded in,locomotives? The above vehicles are not right up there in the fuel economy stakes. Does anyone know if over the years there has been an adjustment to the methodology used to calculate vehicle fuel efficiency?

Obama and cleaning the mess that he claims. Who would he be reffering to? If health care mess that really started with the Democrats and wage controls.

Financial mess, well that would be Larry Summers,Genslar from CFTC, and Rubin that talked Clinton into signing 2000 Commodity Futures whatever Act after they had convinced him that it was a good idea not to regulate credit derivatives and such. Rubin as head of Citi how much did he walk away with. Let’s start reminding Barry of the truth when he comes out with these blame the other guys routine.

Let’s not forget  Geithner at the NY Fed.

While all the attention is rightly focused on health care there is another troubling thing evolving.

Obama is “lending” Petrobras the state controlled oil behemoth of Brazil $10 Billion. It gets better.

Petrobras is under investigation in Brazil for amongst other things siphoning off money to left wing groups. The final straw in the story segment is Petrobras is enjoying huge profits.

So much for transparency ingovernment. What’s the bet on international unions  at play here. I do not intend to learn the words to the Internationale.
