So how does the left now square Obama’s many failures in representing America to the various countries of the world (England, Russia, Israel, Iran, China, Japan…)? Given their ridicule toward George Bush with his so-called lack of diplomatic finesse, it may be hard to swallow that Mr. Obama by their own measure makes “W” appear to be quite the statesman.
The “lightness of being” that is Mr. Obama is becoming more apparent with time. And it appears his administration is over-populated with the same like minded, light-weights who are out of their league in the world arena.
Wasn’t Obama’s raison d’etre vis-a-vis Bush how he would better represent America to the world?
Well, according to Big Government, the mainstream Japanese weekly magazine Shukan Bunshun reported that the visit was the “worst” one ever… and additionally from a source at the Japanese Foreign Ministry-
“To tell you the truth, it had to have been the worst US-Japan Summit Meeting in history.”

At least on Foreign Policy front he did some really good work. For instance junking the ABM Treaty with Russia. Or calling out North Korea and throwing the Clintonian Agreed Framework away (which actually enabled them to get Nuclear weapons). Throwing CTBT into dustbin, Not signing Kyoto deal…. Basically undoing the damage caused by national and international leftist propaganda network. I can go on and on. Sept 11 did disrupt his agenda as in he just couldn’t devote time elsewhere. Despite that he did manage few good international moves. Nuclear deal with India. 20 years ago nobody would have dreamed that was possible. Declaring war on Iraq.
He is just trying to do and be all things for all people. That is called pandering. Or spinelessness… Or Can’t we all get along mantra…. He wants to keep military tribunals. He wants to try terrorists in civilian courts. He wants to wage a war while not wage a war. He wants to spend endlessly and not like debt.
