-Obama says that taxes are bad, so he has a plan to reduce state and local property taxes by sending $25 billion to state and local governments. He will get the $25 billion from…voluntary charitable donations?

He’s been so successful getting campaign contributions maybe he figures the same scam will work for his revenue shortfall.

for including the elimination of 401K tax breaks in your post. Hopefully people that read this site will pass this along to everyone they know.

This is a huge deal to millions of Americans, many of whom would receive their little check from Obama. The thought of being forced into a government run retirement plan, administered by the Social Security Administration should send chills up everybody’s spine. It’s absolutely frightening to think how much government could expand and invade our lives under an Obama/Pelosi/Reid regime.

And why isn’t McCain and Palin mentioning this on the stump? I really think this is a game changing issue that millions of people understand. I’ve already called their Virginia office and all I got was an ‘uh-huh’ and ‘thank you for your call’. Folks, call your Reps and Senators up for relection and call your local McCain office to let them know that this elimination of 401K tax breaks cannot happen.

I also don’t understand the unwillngness of McCain-Palin to exploit this. It is a game changer, if people know about it, but they don’t. The other side’s base doesn’t care about this, they’re going to get their relief from the guv’mint, so they’re not interested. Our side better be.

Ed’s post this morning was the first I had heard of this particular crackpot idea. There’s more here, including a relevant analogy to what Argentina is doing.

But they should jump on this one with both feet, it dovetails perfectly with the “spread the wealth” tax plan.

GOP to jump on the 401K stuff.
I mean seriously, this is just insane.
401K are the only thing we really have left. Oh, and let me guess, they are probably going to tax our Roth’s too? We switched those back in the day and our accountant told us to beware of that possibility.

The ads need to be pumping in every critical battleground state and each critical race.

This is an issue Right Change could also take up. Any one have any pull with them?

Lastly, get it to Lou Dobbs and O’Reilly. This is just the kind of thing to get those two schreeching wildly!

I am suprised you even have the gall to post here since there was an Obama supporter today who attack a McCain worker who is a 20 year old female. Yeah thats right…your side…and in fact the attacker went so far as to carve a B for barrack in this young ladies face….I hope you are proud of your Man-God and the supporters he draws….you have no shame!!

You don’t have to be so harsh. We are sensitive. We have feelings too.
