Uncut Video of President Obama’s Emphatic Support of a Single Payer System

According to the White House, the video shot in 2003 that you are about to watch gives a “very false impression.”

It sure is easy to get this “very false impression” when you take the President at his word.

Or when President Obama over-ruled his Chief of Staff to support MoveOn.org’s push for a public plan option in the House and Senate health reform bills, and when his campaign organization and the DNC ran television ads against his own Democratic Congressmen to push them into supporting his plan.

Quit posting this disinformation. It does not support the Dear Leader’s position.

When talking about the Obamassiah, “taken out of context” means “quoted from a recording he didn’t know existed”.

Only a bible-hugging, gun-loving, xenophobe like yourself wouldn’t understand that.

    • Dan Perrin

      confusion.

      ;)

  • harlan

…unless they’re pretty confident that their health care will remain gold standard/private provider, (maybe the congressional plan?) rather than the DMV version that the rest of us peon schmucks will be subjected to.

God, I hope someone is making a list.

    • Dan Perrin

some has a list, and is checking it twice…

  • Vegas_Rick

Man I hope this gets a lot of play!

    • Dan Perrin

discredit all his opponents, but it is not addressing the health plan’s own credibility problems, or his credibility problems, because the American public thought they were electing a moderate.

that The One who used the internet to his advantage in 2008 would think that taking on the BIGGEST site of all Drudge and think he would not respond and belittle and embarrass them more shows they are no longer THINKING! They are in shock and interestingly enough for me look like deer caught in the headlights!

  • Dan Perrin

They are being scared by the reaction of the voters.

They are used to quiet town hall meeting where a dozen or 20 people show up.

They are used to their supporters showing up.

    They are scared psychologically.

    They are scared politically.

    They are just plain scared.

Right after BHOs approval ratings fell and the word came out that blue dogs were against the bill, the House of Reps passed it. It was only because of the fox news coverage and internet coverage, the dems ran out of time to get a Senate vote before the August recess. Since that time town hall meetings are exploding with righteously angered voters who are making it very clear they are against the BHO public plan. In spite of the obvious out cry against the BHO Administration over this and his declining poll numbers, I’m not confident that the healthcare bill won’t pass in the Senate come September. We are witnessing a complete nullification of the will of the people by a self declared dictator in disguise although that vail is becoming thinner. How in one week did blue dogs go from opposing to voting in favor of in the house? They are afraid of the BHO machine that’s why. BHO may be a one term president. I submit that he doesn’t care. His goal is transformation to socialism regardless of voters view.

    • izoneguy

That is why it is important to hammer your rep. at the townhalls.

      http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2009/07/31/AR2009073100615.html

WASHINGTON — In a triumph for President Barack Obama, Democrats narrowly pushed sweeping health care legislation through a key congressional committee Friday night and cleared the way for a September showdown in the House.

The 31-28 vote in the House Energy and Commerce Committee, along party lines, was weeks later than either the White House or Democratic leaders had hoped.

      • avgamerican

My impression is that it had enough to pass. I maybe mistaken. In any event the fact BHO is still trying to go forward with the bill shows his defiance and true aim.

    • OccamsRazor

      .

  • avgamerican

Again I will repeat that the voters had enough information on BHO to know his intentions and they ignored it. Now we have a president who has appointed an avowed communist Van Jones as his green czar. Bill Ayers, Jeremiah Wright, etc etc etc. Do you think this guy cares if voters including independents who voted for him are now turning on him? Negative. He knew exactly what he was doing. All voters had to do was look at his voting record. Everything BHO is doing now was predicted and it is coming to pass. His approval ratings might be 30% by the end of his first year, but he will not stop what he is doing.

    • izoneguy

about Obama’s sketchy past. They did not. They knew that Joe Biden said he was “clean”. If McCain would have hammered Obama more like Palin was then it might have been a different story. Now McCain is out there putting down Obama every chance he gets. I wonder if McCain wants to take back this statement:

      • avgamerican

He never spoke of BHO’s associations in the debates. He never used the info in BHO’s book “Dreams of My Father” He could have done alot of damage. For that he failed in his duty to expose this radical. But Hannity did. Hannity covered it every night. The internet covered it. There was plenty of info out there for the the voter who wanted to listen. But of course it was all right wing propaganda. I knew it wasn’t and now the country knows it was true though they refused to accept it before. Were not done we are far from the end here. BHO will defiantly shout denials and arrogance he will not quit because of polls.

        • avgamerican

A decent man who believes in the expanison of abortions at tax payers expense.
A decent man who aligns himself with militant radicals Bill Ayers, Jeremiah Wright and who “choses his friends
          carefully,” “marxist professors.”

A decent man who predictably took sides against Israel and their struggle for defensable borders.
A decent man who quaoted that he would cut missle defense systems which are unproven (we have been knocking missles out of the sky since at least gulf war I).

McCain knew BHO was weak, but would not say what needed to bew said. That doesn’t mean the voters didn’t know.

          I still say voters knew.

  • avgamerican

There is no way you couldn’t know. They either voted for him because they are BHO or they voted for him because they were angry at GOP, but they knew who and what they were voting for.

    • izoneguy

are idiots and will pay…..as they drag us down with them.

      • avgamerican

Affirmative. And the lap dogs will keep lapping because thats all they know how to do.

    • OccamsRazor

of all this is that the Democrats are falling for a serious trap here as well. This program is GOING to be a failure-outright. Socialist concepts have _historically_ been tried, tested, and failed on every level.

Our United States Post Office for democrats sake, once raised as an exemplar example for Government run programs by Biden is now closing 100s/1000s of offices countrywide.

One aspect of socialism was to compliment the general WILL of the people, which has historically resulted in general MASS suffering (ie. Russia, NK (and again the United States Post Office ;) ). When socialism is instituted in practice, and within the context of the human condition, people WILL sit on their collective bums. Heck, even Norway and Sweden are fast back peddling from the failure.

I read in the AP today where the democrats were given a pep rally at the white house by a pompom wielding BO. In which case, they would enjoy bipartisanship, but would ultimately go it alone. There it is. The line in the sand.

The Republicans either give us a choice or risk their own political futures. If the Republicans vote down the line. It does multiple things:

It tells their constituents that they, took a stand against legislation that in it’s very _nature_, it’s very _arithmetic_ , and it’s very _ideological & historical failures_, that they are NOT going to sell out our children for their own political expediencies.

It also will also make transparent that BO is not bipartisan, because it is so early in his administration, that he also never intended to be-so, same ole same ole. No one votes for a novelty twice.

This IS his Waterloo. ALL of his poltical capital is being spent on this. If this is stopped, he’ll be the first American President that’ll be a lame duck in his first term. He better bring it, ’cause we ARE.

      • avgamerican

After a 93% smack down by the Senate committee in charge of funding his plan, BHO went on TV and yelled that he was going to do it. Just recently AG officials were in Michigan scouting possible sites to import Islamic militants into our prisons. If BHO were the only American for this, he would do it in the face of all opposition.

BHO can’t be controlled. If I didn’t know any better I’d say he is a proxy president for something outside this country. It wouldn’t surprise me since George Soros is one of moveon.org’s biggest contributers. ACORN is organized crime with radical aims and BHO is their president. If the voters refused to connect the dots and McCain let it go, it’s basically the end of our democratic republic. It’s possible to have elections in dictator countries. Even Iraq under Sadam Hussein held elections. We are not there yet until the government willingly nullifies the will of the people and uses the military against the people. The former has happened. The latter is yet to come.

      • OccamsRazor

That I think it’s premature for this card to be played.

Particularly while the townhalls are catching fire. The meme by dems and blue dogs verbally expoused in the media is to their own detriment and concealed by their own glamour of the oval office.

      • avgamerican

BHO opted “present” or no vote much of the time and almost 100% party line liberal when he did vote. He voted against every one of Bush’s Supreme Court candidates. How could voters think they were voting for a moderate bi-partisan? Bunk I say Bunk

  • avgamerican

It will be interesting to see what happens in the long run and how the voters respond in 2010, but I’m not holding my breath.
