Speed limit on our street was 20mph, but it was used as a shortcut through street and people were always zooming by, even though the sidewalks were only about three feet from the street and there were kids everywhere.

The cops came out once and gave dozens of tickets. On another occasion they suggested the problem could be resolved if the speed limit were raised to 30mph. Hell if they’d raised it to 70 that would have eliminated all speeding!

It is said that brevity is the essense of wit. Rather than go into a long diatribe on Obama’s torture of the English language, how if you legalize illegals, than illegals won’t get health care, we need to keep it brieft. We need to find a short, precise description of what Obama is doing.
Can anyone think of an accurate, two word phrase that says the President is not telling the truth?
If only there was a not-so-average Joe out there who could stand up and call ou the president’s prevarication in just two words. Yup that’s what we need.

This will completely destroy our economy and needs to be shouted from the rooftops.

Unless he is banking on the IRS collecting the penalties for not carrying insurance from all these new folks.

Oh, that’s right. He hasn’t shown us HIS healthcare plan yet.

2012 is way, way too far away.

You cannot just listen only to what Obama says, you have to remember who he is, and hear what isn’t said. To “hear” him say he would legalize illegals in order to make his statement of not providing healthcare to illegals true was a logical leap, but if you said it out loud, you just sound like a right-wing conspiracy kook.

Now he’s said it, and we really aren’t surprised, are we? Remember, he’s going to fundamentally change our country, founded on a “fundamentally flawed” Constitution. He’s not hiding who he is; we just can’t see the depths to which he will go to provide for his own salvation by “saving” America.

The difference between conservatives and radical communists and socialists is the use and discarding of the “useful idiot.”

The useful idiot is a person, or a group of people who willingly go along with the agenda of the radicals for their own narrow purpose or ideology. They think that they are “partners” in the revolution, when in truth they are only tools being used as a means to an end.

For years we saw eco-groups, gays, legalizing drug-ers, PETA puppy lovers, no-nuke’ers, anti-war protesters, entertainers, liberal MSM types, all running around mucking up the system. All supported and funded by the far left. (Seriously, what purpose did CODE PINK serve other than as an irritant?) When their usefulness is used up by the left, they are discarded. Often to their shock and dismay. “But we were partners, YOU said we were partners!”

Activist black groups in America were also funded, backed and supported in their effort to further disrupt the system and garner votes for the people in power (who I might point out except for the figurehead of Obama, are white) so they can expand their influence.

As the Hispanic population increase in a number of states to the point where they surpassed the black population, I’ve noticed a shift, by both parties, towards soliciting their support. As the Hispanic population grows in America, as their wealth grows, as their impact on politics grows, the blacks will be forced to the background in many states.

We’ve seen this in Florida for years. Miami is almost completely a Hispanic city. Other cities cater, politically, to the growing population, which some Hispanic groups are now demanding and expecting. I remember a Cuban woman from Miami coming into our department refusing to speak English. She could (most all of the Cubans are bilingual) but she demanded we produce a Spanish speaking officer so she didn’t have to. When we were unable to find one, she said to anyone listening in her loud Cuban voice, “All of you are racists!”

I kid you not.

My point is this. Get ready for some fireworks soon. The left (and moderate right) are going to be forced by budgets and other limits to chose between blacks and Hispanics, and with the Hispanics having the numbers and the wealth, it won’t be a contest.

At which point you are going to hear a WHOLE lot of screaming. It will be loud when the left dumps thirteen million “useful idiots”.

I suppose that would include people from other countries here on vacation, UN diplomats, folks here on their frist day of a workers visa, non working people here on a student visa and terrorist cells planted by our enemies.

That’s not the whole list of those here legally, but a disturbing number anyway.

If they had top notch medical care in Mexico and I had a dibilitating disease, I would apply for a workers visa today. Knowing that they won’t screen me for diseases and I will be able to get treatment the moment I walk across the border.

That’s just one scenario, thnk of all the Europeans that come here on vacation. Our system will just be starting to sink (not totaly under water like theirs) they could, COULD, swamp our system and drag it under way faster than thiers.

This tactic seemed obvious from the very beginning of this ‘campaign’ by Obama. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out that he talks like a lawyer, carefully wording what he says in order to hide what he really intends.

Obama’s attempt to deceive is why the American public is no longer convinced he tells the truth!!!! He and his supporters can call those who are questioning his real motivations ‘terrorists” if they like. The truth is Americans are using their intelligence to protect themselves, their families and theri country from what they are beginning to believe is a pack of lies. If Nancy Pelosi doesn’t understand that, then she and the rest of the Dems are not the answer but the problem.

It all makes Joe Wilson’s angry outburst during Obama’s speech just a small cry in the wilderness of lies and duplitous behavior by a man who claims to be upholding the Constitution and laws of the land.

He’s also going to have to rework the budget numbers as well. He can’t possibly think it will cost the same amount to provide health care for 30 million additional people as it will to provide health care for 47 million more people. Can he?…

As long as Obama’s poll numbers stay low, the pressure needs to stay on. More tea parties! More demonstrations! More protests! More letters and phone calls!

If there’s one thing our reps in Congress/Senate have shown us, they will do anything to keep their seats. Assure them they must vote against any measure that even hints at amnesty or cap & trade (delayed) or an healthcare takeover and they might just save us. Tell them it’s the only way to keep their seat. Then boot them out in 2010 anyway.

Pres. Obama has already announced that he’s going to work to give the Mexicans living in the U.S. amnesty and citizenship, so why the surprise that he wants them covered by his health care plan, along with all others? There’s already so many Mexicans living in the U.S. that attempting to sort them into legals and illegals is counterproductive. Why even consider Mexico as a separate state anymore? The real issue is when will we finally incorporate Mexico into the U.S. as 10+ new states sans the corrupt Mexican federal govt. so that all 414M Americans can work to share the New World in peace? Once Mexico becomes a sector of the U.S., the U.S. military and coast guard will move in and end the lawlessness, allowing the border to come down, after which millions of Yankee “gringos” will reverse the pattern and flock down there and set up new cities, creating new jobs at all levels and raising the GDP, what Pres. Reagan used to call Supply Side Economics, ending the poverty and all the grumbling.
