Sacred No More: Nothing can Travel Faster than Light — Next up, Intelligent Alien Life does not Exist

The arrogance of man knows no bounds.

Just look at “the One,” our President.

His arrogance is destructive and blinding to his own eyes, and those closest to him. Listening to “the One” is like listening to the patronizing and condescending tones of scientists explaining nothing can travel faster than light.

Except now, 160 scientists from 11 countries can’t figure out how a particle from the CERN supercollider in Europe arrived — and the experiment was repeated for three years, fifteen thousand times — faster than the speed of light at an underground lab in Gran Sasso, Italy.

But scientists are such black-and-white dogmatics — since we don’t understand how it can be, it therefore is not.

Such is the arrogance of man.

As I have written before on RedState, in my view, those who do not believe in intelligent alien life are like those who believed the world was flat.

And most of those who believed the world was flat never took the time to understand or look at the evidence that the world was not flat. They simply accepted it was so, because they were told.

So now, a “universal truth” of science has been shown, in fact, to be wrong.

Just imagine all the vibrating-in-place of those who are not mentally prepared for the truth that intelligent alien life does exist.

People wonder where is the video evidence of intelligent alien life.

What makes you assume that just because video evidence exists, anyone will look at it?

Look now, or not.

Isn’t it just more comfortable believing the faster than the speed of light is impossible? After all, it has been a “universal constant” that all of human physics has been built on.

Similarly, isn’t it much more comfortable believing humans are the only intelligent beings in the universe, so much more comfortable that that clear video evidence — such as linked to above — is not even watched?

Oh yeah, the arrogant human never listens.

But they do get upset. And scare easily.

I get the vibe that scientists are pretty optimistic that intelligent alien life exists, partly based on all the exoplanets found (over 600 to date).

I think it would amazing if the CERN thing checks out – while lots of science would have to be rewritten, it would also open up huge opportunities.

Superluminal travel would be interesting, though its possible it might not make a big difference from a technical standpoint. For example, assuming Einstein is still right, you are limited by c but thanks to time dilation (at highly relativistic speeds), the traveler would experience less time passage (or shorter distance). This is the same thing as simply traveling faster than light with no time dilation, and would probably require similar amounts of energy.

of a ship with an engine that propels it to those speeds, is, I think, an assumption that should not be made — given this news, all assumptions are off the table.

You vs Albert Einstein? I know who I’m putting my on.

I wondering who say that, and I say “touche”

a debate, but realized this could be a response.

I will try again, at some point in the future

Don’t let the peanut gallery get you down. I remember not too long ago when scientists finally concluded that neutrinos actually did have mass. My high school and college textbooks didn’t even mention the possibility that neutrinos had mass, so that tells you how fundamental knowledge is subject to change.

            Thanks for the encouragement.

Please tell me you are not, in the age of CGI, comparing that video “evidence” to an experiment run 15,000 times.

In related news: could a moderator inform me as to why I am unable to post on Redstate?

    • http://www.hsacoalition.org Dan Perrin

      right?

It has to be faked, in your view, because if it is not, well then…

      • daendda

        It’s not sanitary.

I didn’t say it had to be fake. You said it had to be real, or as real as an experiment conducted 15,000 times.

While I cannot say whether intelligent life exists outside of this planet, I believe that, mathematically, it is a good possibility.

    Interesting footage at the link.

You might want to watch the DVD “The Privileged Planet”, wherein real scientists discuss the odds of life being out there. They submit that for life to exist as we know it, there are at least twenty factors which must be exists exactly like the earth.

Assuming that the odds of any one of these factors may be present in other solar systems or galaxies may be as high as 10%, the odds of all of them being present is at least 1 x 10 to the minus 50 power, which most scientists believe is impossible odds.

    Right?

    • d_lamar

I believe that dna structured life does not exist outside of earth. If there is some other form of life in the universe, we probably could not find it or recognize it as being alive.
